This vegan, mostly organic, homemade, extremely delicious, small cozy eatery is now my favorite place to eat on earth!!!! I don't eat out much because I feel I can eat healthier at home making my own food but that is not the case with this place!!! I feel I could eat here every day and eat just as good if not better than I do at home!!!! These people are artists the way they make food so good!!!!! I had lunch there a couple weeks ago and ordered a lunch to go for later!!!!! I can't wait to go back there!!! My daughter and granddaughter have been going on a regular basis and the owners are so incredibly nice �
Just returned from eating here, and if you have not gone you must. The boy and I got Biscuits and Gravy with Sausage Gravy, the girl got Mac and Cheese with Buffalo Chicken, and my wife got the Tofu Scramble. Keep in mind, all of this is vegan, and understand it is all delicious. The flavors are spot on, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is wonderful. If you want to live healthy and still eat well, this is the place. Spread the word--the Vegan Nest is fantastic!
The food was super tasty; delightful and delicious! Staff and owner were all friendly. An abundance of choices which made it hard to choose. I had the spinach and Artichoke Panini and my partner had the Grain Bowl. We split a side of potato wedges and a berry smoothie. Everything tasted fresh. No doubt a winner and you can’t go wrong.
The cafe is delightful and unpretentious. Nice choices for seating: some bight tables, some standard low tables then there is a nice family room feel area with comfy chairs. The ceiling looks to be an original tin ceiling (painted) which layers in more character. However, the establishment is in need of a little TLC. The kitchen is small kitchen and they are busting at the seams to store there ingredients. Definitely in need of a organization re-do. But to me, none of this bothered me; it added to the charm.
Great place to get food! Family run all the way through. They take your order cook and serve your food. They definitely work hard. But it’s well worth it. It shows! Everyone should give this place a chance. Also it’s black run so if that’s alluring to you get in their and go support the family and give them some great business! Super chill atmosphere and very nice people! I always love coming here when I pass through. I won’t go without it.
Highly recommend to vegans and meat-lovers alike. I was absolutely amazed at how well this place impersonates a variety of meat dishes across multiple cuisines. The "cheese steak" (pictured) had a wonderful texture and was satisfying enough to get me through two meals.
Food was okay, very long wait. The steak had this really horrible seasoning on it, and would've been great without it. The wait time was VERY long. The mac and cheese was good and my boyfriend liked him Buffalo "ckn" sandwich. I thought it was very overpriced too.

This place is a warm and cozy environment where you can eat healthy and fresh vegan food. The food is phenomenal and made with passion. The lovely lady that was serving me and my friends today was amazing she was very warm and passionate about what she does you can tell by the way she moves around the shop and her willingness to help you with anything she does. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to any vegan lovers or people with food allergies. The vegan nest is a must go to spot.
