The staff is very friendly and professional. Anytime we are in town this is our spot. The food is delicious! We have pretty much tried everything on the menu by now and we are always very satisfied with the quality of the food and the service is fast.
I like their taco salad and always get that. There is a young guy that works there and if he is there, the food is great! for some reason, when he isn't, the salad seems thrown together, and is different every time I've ordered it. Also, when he is there, service seems prompt. When he isn't, I've waited over a half hour to get served. Amazing the difference one person can make!
Not fancy at all, but excellent MEXICAN food and honestly the closest I have found to a real Taqueria from Mexico. Pricing was very good and portions were great. Just passing through, I ate lunch and dinner here on the same day. I tried tacos at lunch to taste 3 different kinds of meat and I really enjoyed the chicken. There were so many diffent plate options too. Service was pleasant and the young man behind the counter was very upbeat and ready to please his customers. I would definitely return again, and I tried to on Weds evening for dinner but they were closed for some reason? So may want to call ahead.

Best Abuelita food in Woodland y'all know what I'm talking about
This place is as good as it gets! Clean resturant, excellent selection of meats and low prices means you are getting the best Mexican food for your money. The carnitas were extremely flavorful with that little edge of crisp that means they were mad right. Plus the rolled tacos were super crunchy!
I had the adovado pork tacos and they were really big servings. Tuesday nights are Taco nights and only $1.50 each. Can't beat that at this quality. I'll be back.
The food is great and hand prepared. I get the Chile Verde Rice and Beans. Only reason they don't get a 5 star is they can be slower if you are in a lunch rush but it's worth the wait.

HECHO EN MEXICO TAQUERIA, WOODLAND: I normally don't give taqueria's 5 stars, because, normally, they simply don't and can't measure up to that standard. Sometimes it's because they just can't be clean enough, they are sort of clean, just not enough. Sometimes there are tables and chairs, but they've seen too much use, with rips, tears, etc. or sometimes, the food just doesn't measure up. I've tasted taqueria's where the food is just bland--blachhhh. OK, not terrible; it is edible, but not tasty.
HENCHO EN MEXICO has WONDERFUL FOOD! They simply have the best tacos in town and I would say the best tacos in Knights Landing, Yuba City and Marysville, too. They are just nothing short of good! That goes for the asada, carnitas, fish, all tacos. I literally, tried every taco on the menu--they are ALL GOOD! My (adult) son and I stopped in for lunch one day, never having been here before--and feeling adventurous--and asked what was the most popular item on the menu. The owner said the tacos. So, we tried them. We haven't looked back. We have tried other menu items, and I must say, there are many good things on that menu. Nothing, however, can beat their tacos. They are crispy, dowsed in grated cheese, with the insides full of tastiness. Nothing bland, here. You will not go wrong--EVER--if you try the tacos. It doesn't matter which variety you try, they are all good. My personal favorite is the carnitas, but the shrimp is a very close second. Oh, lest I forget: TACO TUESDAY: $1.50 each.
