Delicious, quick, clean. Doesn't get better than that. We had miso soup, cali roll, tuna roll, spring rolls, salad and tempura. This food is exceptionally good, one of those hole in the wall joints that blow your socks off. I'd come back just for the salad dressing alone. It's easy to drive right by this place and never see it or know it's there so if you come ( and you should) it's just past the Elsmere firehouse, headed south.
By far the best sushi in Delaware. The chef told our table he's been making sushi for over 40 years. I've been to mikimotos, jasmine, stingray, cultured pearl, all of them. This place may be small but the sushi is second to none.
I thought I had the best sushi in Delaware but I didn't until I visited SAKURA at 1203 Kirkwood HWY, Elsmere DE. The food was delicious. The service was very professional & polite the atmosphere soothing. I like the high table & chairs.

I'm unfamiliar with sushi choices so this was a new place for our family to visit. The food was delicious and everything was well presented. The kids enjoyed everything they ate and want to make another trip back, very soon. When you first drive up, you don't expect much for this quaint place but the meals were so good, it doesn't matter what the first impression was. Try it for yourself, the sushi was great.
When I arrived with a friend, we were the only ones in the restaurant. It took less than 30 minutes afterward for nearly every table to be seated. Granted, it's a small restaurant but it became clear why the place is so popular. It has a very "home" feeling to it, the staff (if I'm right) seemed to be just a man, his wife, and his daughter. The food was good, I think it's fair for the price and the taste was not lacking. The sushi on the nigiri was thick which I appreciate! I would definitely recommend it for a date night or with a party of 4 maximum!
Good sushi can be a bit pricey. Nice intimate seating if you want a good place for date night that won't be too loud. Service was fast, and the wait staff has always been pleasant.
Delicious spicy tuna 🍣 roll! And sashimi! Fast friendly service! And yummy saki while I waited!
Absolutely delicious sushi and beautiful boat sushi display. Drinks are good restaurant is extremely clean, staff are very nice and attentive. Will definitely go back.
Favorite sushi place in all of DE that we have tried. Great quality fish. Quick service. Creative and well-priced special rolls.
