Don't get to come here nearly enough, but last night was superb. Our waiter wasn't very talkative or chatty, but that was okay with me. He was attentive without hovering and allowed us time to enjoy the meal without interruption. My dining partner and I both had the risotto w/shrimp and fennel sausage. Appetizers of baked ricotta and roasted beets were delicious. What I really liked was the diversity among our fellow patrons; something I haven't observed much at other area restaurants. And its casual, yet upscale-minus the pretentious feel, but still provides the service and quality of a "dress-to-the-nines" dining experience. A gem for the city of Wilmington!
Had a wonderful anniversary dinner here. Amy was a fabulous server and didn’t steer us wrong with any of her food and wine suggestions. She helped make it such a special dinner with her conversation and attentive service. Thank you!!
This place was excellent! The food was just exceptional. The drinks were very good and strong. I had the steak and strawberry salad. The meat was cooked perfectly and the flavor profiles just blended nicely. My wife had the ravioli and again it was excellent. We shared the crispy duck plate and that might have been my favorite that night. It was so crispy and had excellent flavor profiles. The plating was also very fancy and really enhanced the look of each dish. I would 100% go there again. It was a nice location in Wilmington only annoyance was parel parking, but that is a me problem!
Lovely meal last night here. I rarely preset beef but thought the sirloin was prepared perfectly. White asparagus was also awesome! The staff was also knowledgeable and gracious.
Such an awesome restaurant with eclectic delicious food. The staff, atmosphere, everything is great. Far exceeded our expectations. Can't wait to come back.
This restaurant is amazing! I can see so many details not only in the food but also in decorations.
Nice restaurant. Do get reservations if you go. Food was delicious and drinks were too.
We went for New Years Eve so we only had the pre-fix menu options to choose from. Each course we had one thing that was excellent and a second that was off the charts amazing. First course we had Crispy Potato Terrine (excellent) and the Wagyu Beef Tartare (absolutely amazing combination of flavors!). Second course we had Grilled Spanish Octopus (excellent) and Sherry-Glazed Lamb Ribs (perfectly amazing - fell off the bone, delicious sticky glaze, and again unbelievable combination of flavors). Third Course we had Pan-Seared Halibut (excellent - especially the walnut crumb topping) and Dry Aged Long Island Duck Breast (all I can tell you is after my husband’s first bite he said, “that may be the best single bite of food I’ve had in my life”). Dessert Course - we aren’t big dessert people, Sweet Potato White Chocolate Brûlée was very good and the Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Torte was excellent - it was paired with pretzel ice cream a flavor I’ve never had that was a perfect combination.
We were seated at the counter facing the street - it was a great night for people watching and still felt intimate. Drinks were fun and wines were excellent - we particularly enjoyed the Malbec. If you’re a foodie this is the place for you. If you’re into standard flavors and large portions, this is not the place for you. Overall amazing experience.
Wow, this restaurant exceeded all expectations! My wife and I are still talking about how great it was the day after eating there. The atmosphere is really cozy, the wait staff is great and the food is spectacularly good. Even the prices are quite reasonable for such a fine restaurant. I would expect a restaurant like this in NYC, but not in downtown Wilmington. But there it is! Can't wait to go back.
