This place reminded me of a much quicker Five Guys. The burger was great. So were the onion rings. The fries were limp and soggy, albeit flavoful.l We never did manage to get one of the mayo packets open. Wanted to try the shakes, but no room.
I thoroughly enjoyed this cookout mainly because the staff were so very friendly. Southern hospitality at it's finest. That just goes to show you that when I am greeted with a warm smile and a happy attitude: makes the food taste better! Happy Thanksgiving 2023.
Today was perfect through the drive through. Short line and a friendly gal working. But the star of the show is that Cook out style hot dog today. It was perfect today!!!!. The presentation, the freshness and the taste. Good job Monkey Junction!!!
Order was taken by David and he was the nicest guy ever. Very professional. Answered my few questions very quickly as well as took time to explain the differences between items so I could make my decision. He was very kind, quick, and professional. I will be returning because of him.
We had been camping at Freeman Beach when we decided to stop in for some actual hot food before we headed the 1.5hrs back home. We all had sunburns to some degree. The food was amazing and hit the spot. The shakes were delicious and cooled us all down. Aside from the fact the female bathroom was broken and the male bathroom wasn't the cleanest, the restaurant was hot and the employee kept having yelling matches with some kids, I'm assuming he knew from high school, we had an exceptional experience. The staff for the most part was professional, friendly and apt to fix any issue promptly. The food and shakes were exactly how we ordered it. Tons of options are available. We always get the Cookout Tray, tons of food for $5.00 is the best deal! So, many ways to order it between burgers, dogs, pulled pork, chicken sandwiches, quesadillas and the list goes on and on. I would highly recommend them! For a family of 7 adults we ate for under $60 which, included 6 shakes.
We have been to different Cook Out locations. We love the Pineapple and Blueberry milkshakes. At this Cook Out we went into it was different than come who you can go in. This was unique and different. We ate inside and enjoyed the atmosphere.
Cookout is my to go place. Their shakes are amazing! The white cheddar cheese bites are little bits of heaven! Their hot dogs, burgers, onion rings and corn dogs all great! Service is quick, even if the line is long.
Always a choice stop on the way home from Carolina Beach and the aquarium. I love that this location has a dining area inside. Decent food, especially for the price. I fed myself and 4 kids and got us all milkshakes for around $50. The peanut butter fudge milkshake is sooo good.
Ordered a Big Double Burger, fries, chicken nuggets and a large soda. Total cost was under $9.Gentleman taking my order was friendly & very professional. Food was ready in under 30 seconds and it was excellent. Fast food does still exist! Very impressed!!
We love this CookOut location. We usually eat here twice each vacation. Today, the crew was having some issues with equipment in the back and the wait was a little longer than normal. The guy up front, Ethan, did a great job keeping everyone informed and was very pleasant. The food was excellent and I think the crew did a great job in a stressful situation!
