The food is amazing! I tried it based on reviews alone and wasn’t disappointed, we got the orange and General Tsos chicken and they were so flavorful. The crab rangoons were genuinely the best I’ve ever had, I ate them the next day cold and they were still great lol. The person who took our order was also amazing, he even made sure we knew where they were located when he saw my out of state number on the call! 10/10 recommend :) the only downside is the price, it’s a little pricy but honestly worth it for the quality
I've tried the various Chinese takeout restaurants all across the Wilmington/Leland area and China King is by far the one I always end up returning to. It is a large menu with just about any and every Chinese dish you could think of. And the service is simply amazing, I've never waited longer than about 10 minutes from ordering to getting my food. All around delicious food and a great little takeout spot. The young man I always interact with is always very friendly and does an amazing job handling orders swiftly, I have yet to get a wrong order and he doesn't even write anything down!
It's been my #1 place for Chinese for more than 20 years. No one else in town has the same chicken wing recipe.

I was just now at this restaurant yesterday afternoon and it was lovely. Last year I found out about this restaurant after more than 15 years eating Chinese food at times in different certain areas, this one really is a bit good. They had the chicken and cashew nuts and food came out to be hot which is what we liked best and the portion they give you is good. My dad's plate was good too, however we kinda experienced some misunderstanding when we were there which I don't know why because once you order from the lunch menu special they're supposed to give you an egg roll included but one of the owners said no at that instance. We had experienced power failure inside while we were eating our food but it was around that whole area. What we also like best about this restaurant is that their egg rolls are not so oily inside and they're nice and dry from the outside.
This place is probably one of my favorite places in Wilmington for Chinese food! I really love the dumplings and everything I've tried from here is fantastic. If you are looking for your go to place for take out, I would highly recommend this spot!

I absolutely love the wings, you have to try them! Talk about the egg rolls yum.Everybody is so nice it unbelievable.
Oh and they always keep the atmosphere very clean. Great Restaurant and great food!!! :)

I have eaten at China King for over 25 years! Hands down, this is the best Chinese food Wilmington NC has to offer! The owners are the best! They treat you like family. I can go months sometimes without eating here & whenever I call in an order they know exactly who I am. They remember everything I order & they remember exactly how I want it all cooked. For having a family of 5 & all but one being very picky eaters & we order our food special they remember exactly what we like & don't like. For example I order my General TSO combination plate with white meat instead of dark & I get shrimp fried rice instead of the pork fried rice that comes with it & I don't like white onions in my rice only green & instead of a pork eggroll I change it to a shrimp eggroll. As soon as they hear my voice & I say "1 General TSO" they know everything else! We literally eat here once every couple months & as extremely busy as China King stays they still know who I am when I call! This in itself is truly amazing! But their food is even more amazing!! A must try!!! Put it on your bucket list!

Quick delicious take out Chinese food
My very first time eating here and it was really great, the wings with the fried rice is good, the general tso’s chicken and cheese wonton are awesome. Will highly recommend this restaurant!
