Vacationing in Wilmington and found this coffee shop that sells smoothies. I ordered the Green Wave, pretty good. Tropical Smoothie is still my favorite. They offer the Smoothie in 2 sizes, 16 oz and 32 oz. There is a sign above the straws and napkins that said exceeding expectation of every customer every visit... They didn't exceed my expectation but they met it. I paid with credit card and there was an option to tip 15%, 18%, etc... I'm not sure why there isn't a 10% for carryout. I usually tip 15% carryout and 20% dine in regardless of the type of restaurants, but the minimum should be 10% considering it's a coffee shop. It might encourage customers paying with credit card to tip.
The staff at this particular PCJ are the SWEETEST. Major props to Halie and her team for always delivering a great latte and lots of smiles. I love having meetings with clients here!
very comfortable. quiet. plenty of outlets. nice couches. great place to get some work done, or just relax, or catch up with a friend. coffee is great per usual port city java standards.
This location is great. Have always had super friendly staff and they always get my coffee out quickly and it always tastes delicious. The one girl a few weeks ago helped explain to me how the refills work with their mugs or any mug you bring in from home. All PCJ'S give you a discount if you bring in a refillable mug.
I'm picky and they consistently make my coffee drink extremely well. Always friendly also.
My frappe was delicious. The lounge could have more private seating areas, but all in all a good coffee shop. My mom and I felt like everyone in the whole shop could hear our conversation. Maybe a booth or corner seating area would help. Pop up screens and plants could add some coziness and privacy. Just a thought
One of the best port city Java’s I’ve gone to. My boyfriend and I both got hot tea and a pastry. It was so delicious. We just weren’t able to drink our tea for a while because is was too hot. Other than that we had a pretty good experience. Great job! 😊
The atmosphere is always amazing, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, drinks are great, prices are comparable to other's. I love that I was here when the first one made the way for other coffee shops and it grew to and in my opinion, surpasses the competition.
