Reminded me of a spot in New York. The food is sort of a "Soul Food" fusion. Loved it and loved the entertainment (El Jaye Johnson). Would definitely recommend. Also, the waitstaff is amazing the way they handle those stairs all night and interact with the customers! Planning to return soon.
Started with the pot liquor collard green soup. Fantastic! Followed with seafood platter and it was delicious. Enjoyed jazz saxophonist.
Shrimp and grits, crab dip, and chicken and waffles were all superb. Not too crazy about that cornbread, but the Jack Daniel Syrup was Ah-mazing. Visited on an impromptu day and service wasn't the best, but I'll give it another try during normal business hours as the food was good when it came. Great atmosphere with good music
I went there to celebrate my friend's birthday. The service was very good and we were seated promptly. It was recommended that we make reservations, because it's very busy in the evening due to popularity. The 2 piece band was playing on the first level.
Brad and I met Darryl back in May before he opened. We were thrilled to hear about his place, and we weren't disappointed. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the food, especially the Pot Liquor and Pineapple Jalapeno Cornbread! Yum! Highly Recommend!!!
Amazing brunch & weekend Atmosphere. Highly recommend the waffles stuffed with andouille sausage and topped with fried crawfish. Be sure to try the Jack Daniels infused syrup.
Great food, Superb service. Crab dip and chicken and waffles w/ the Jack Daniels syrup is conversation worthy:) No doubt that I'll be returning.
The food and the atmosphere was awesome!! I was in attendance with a few classmates from the class of 1992 Acme Delco High School. I do plan to come again real soon!!
The food and service was great. We went at a very busy time and still received superb service. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Kudos to 141 N management.
