I won free appetizers here and got to try their barbecue flat bread and pimento cheese dip which were both excellent. We stayed for dinner, and I had the River dog which is a huge hot dog wrapped in bacon, cheese, barbecue sauce on a sweet Hawaiian roll....best hot dog I’ve ever had! We had an amazing server that was on it and took pics for us. The view is gorgeous. Highly recommend!
Just what downtown Wilmington needs! Classy and affordable place with some yummy seafood options on their menu, as well as other foods... but... LOBSTER ROLLS!!! Also this place has a great draft beer menu with only local NC beers! Can’t beat the view and location either.
Very good service! We sat outside, & the views were great. The food was delicious, & the drinks were tasty. The crab stuffed salmon was AMAZING. Our waiter was very kind & attentive. I recommend this restaurant for sure 10/10

This place has the most extraordinary views! This ocean view is absolutely beautiful! They have low and tall chair seating options. After you eat, take time to step outside and take in all the beauty that awaits.
Awesome place on the river for lunch or dinner. Sit outside and watch the boats go by.
Good selection of salads, burgers, sandwiches and entrees. The Hot chicken and grits had small amount of spice. They were very crispy and the grits were full of corn and flavor. The fish platter had large amounts of shrimp and oysters, cooked well and very juicy. The slaw was light and flavorful and the fries were crispy.
I love love love Marina Grill. The food has never been a disappointment. The shrimp tacos are delicious. The service has always been good and the atmosphere is fun, especially if Port City Shakedown is playing. It's so worth the time and money.
One of the guides at the USS North Carolina recommended that we go to the Marina Grill instead of some of the high priced restaurants with mediocre food in downtown. Boy, were we glad we did!
We were seated at an outdoor table since it was a beautiful day, and our waitress arrived promptly to take our drink orders. She was very pleasant, and she was attentive throughout our meal.
We ordered a shrimp platter and an oyster platter. Both were delicious, cooked to perfection.
We enjoyed a delicious meal on a delightful day.

It was a nice outing. The appetizers were really good. Service was nice as well. Everything was fresh and the atmosphere sitting by the river enjoying nice breeze just can’t be beat.
Marina Grill doesn't really need any advice... They offer great presentations for the food with even better taste! We watched live music while waiting for our table but the food was definitely worth the wait!
My husband and I had the opportunity to enjoy this delicious place for lunch today. Our hostess, Caitlin, was very kind and friendly. She was happy to seat us outside to enjoy the beautiful day. There was a really nice outdoor back patio. It was a very pretty view with lots of beautiful boats. Our waiter, Joseph, was very kind and very attentive to our needs. He took the time to help us. The food was delicious. Try the scallop appetizer which was delicious. The portion was very small for the price (only three of them) but still yummy! The scallops came lukewarm but the coconut rice sure made up for it. The rest of our lunch was very good. The riverfront walk is also a plus after enjoying a nice meal. Take the time to try this place out and also enjoy the outdoor seating as it is less noisier than inside. A great find! 😊 Thank you so much!
This restaurant is a great place to eat if you’re looking for a nice lunch or dinner spot. I recently ate here with my family and we had a nice time. The customer service was outstanding. I gave the restaurant a 4 as our food was cold when it arrived to the table but everything else was great! You can choose to seat inside or outside and either seat selection has a great view.
