It's a nice little place, very cozy. It's so refreshing to go to a Chinese restaurant and not see a buffet! The food tastes good and is of good quality. It is reminiscent of the golden days before Chinese chains and buffets

Seafood Olympia 132s new creation for 2012 London Olympic is one of the best dishes I've ever experienced. The perfectly cook of grilled jumbo sea-scallop, fried shrimp and well balance of mango sauce. Highly recommended. Best in Wilmington.
Great food, great management. I couldn't disagree more with paintballguy. I think he totally misunderstood the owner. I have been a regular customer at Szechuan 132 since 1989. He knows his customers by name, knows who they usually come in with, and how long they have been coming. I keep coming because I think they have the best Chinese food in town, and I like the people.
If you want something that isn't on the lunch menu, just ask. If they have the ingredients on hand, they'll be glad to make it. If you like crab rangoon, they have something much better: ask for a coconut egg roll.
One of the best quality Chinese food restraunts. This is some of the best quality chinese food I have ever had. I would recommend this to any one. Also great service. YOU can tell the quality of the ingrediants is very high. This is a sit down enjoy your food restaurant.
Great all around Chinese. Szechuan 132 has been around and serving great food for as long as I can remember. Tucked in a corner behind some shrubbery in a strip center, it is a faithful provider of excellent Chinese Food. Dishes are consistently flavorful and nicely prepared. Joe, the proprietor, is always full of great conversation.
Stopped by looking for some Hibachi for dinner, and really was impressed with this great hide-away. Very nice sit down meal experience, and only reason for not a full 5 stars is that service was a bit slow, BUT it is all because the food is fresh, well prepared, and delicious. Dining and bar areas are small but well laid out, and create a nice atmosphere. Recommend dine-in, and enjoy, do not be in a rush. Presentation and service is awesome. Food was fantastic, and heard other customers speak highly of the food quality and portions. We will add this great little place on our Wilmington travel list.

Beef lo main was absolutely perfect. I especially appreciate the quality of the meat, there were no weird pieces or fat. Perfectly spiced and with a little kick.
Love complimentary chips. Makes waiting so much more pleasing.
We also had green Thai basil curry and it was great as well. A lot better than some we had in Thai restaurants. Generous portions. We will definitely be back.
This was one of our favorites when we lived here. The food is still good, but the menu has been reduced (pandemic related?) and most of our old favorites were gone. The staff is still kind & attentive, and the restroom was VERY clean.
This is THE BEST CHINESE FOOD YOU WILL GET IN WILMINGTON! Everything is made FRESH TO ORDER and they can substitute items if you need. Extremely friendly owners Joe and Sally. They make friends with every patron but it’s their personalities plus the food that will have you coming back every week! It’s one of those restaurants where regardless of what you get you know it’s going to be good, and anytime you go you know you’re going to be satisfied! They go above and beyond to make sure the quality of the food and the environment are top notch and the best part is they enjoy it! Love love love the food and staff!
This is a special place for my wife and I. We grew up in Asheboro, NC and this restaurant reminds us of a restaurant we frequented during our childhood and dating years. I ordered the Spicy Tangy Orange Peel Beef. This dish features peppers, carrots, bok choy, and broccoli cooked in a tangy chili pepper sauce. The beef was so tender and juicy and was cut into manageable sized pieces so as to eat with just a fork. This dish comes with white or brown rice. The side salad with ginger dressing was also very fresh and the dressing actually covered the entire salad and was very light in taste.
This place was such a nice surprise! I haven't had really good Chinese in a very long time...especially here in Wilmington. Yellow fried rice??!! Anyway, I've been here 13 years and have never tried Szechuan 123 until this past weekend - mostly because I avoid that area of College Road unless absolutely necessary. What a charming restaurant! The attention and service were impeccable. I'm ordering delivery today and hope I am just as pleased. But for a cozy, yummy, delicious Chinese dinner out, I highly recommend!
Excellent carry out. Friendly service. Food is really good "American Chinese". Tad pai chicken fresh and full of flavor as were the soups. Egg rolls were mediocre.
We are repeat customers and every time the food and service have been fantastic. It's a small place and you can tell each dish is prepared fresh. Recommend!
I ordered delivery, which came through a 2nd delivery company, Fooduyu, or something... this added a $10 delivery fee. The food was worth it though!
- Spring Rolls and Egg rolls were great.
- hot and sour soup was very good.
- imperial chicken was phenomenal.
- chicken lo mein was very good.
I was worried from the mixed reviews, maybe it depends on who is in the kitchen? But we really enjoyed the food.
