I've been here twice for dinner; once with friends, once with my wife....both meals were fantastic. Has a small but creative menu, nice ambiance, great service, reasonable pricing for the quality...I'd definitely recommend it.
We've been coming here on a frequent basis since they opened, because it has been a fantastic experience every time. The atmosphere is lovely, the service very warm & attentive and the food, prepared by European trained Executive Chef Katia, is delicious, well prepared and beautifully presented. Everything we've tried from their menu has been a wonderful experience. You can actually sense the passion for perfection with which it is all prepared. Their Rabbit Risotto, Duck Magret & tender, flavorful Lamb Shank are all a gastronomic delight. The first time we tasted their entrées all we could say was 'wow'....In summary, since the overall experience is extraordinary, the food of very high quality, it is all very much worth their menu prices, which reasonably range from $12 for the Risotto appetizer to $29 for the Lamb Shank & Duck Magret. Truly worth it!
It's the old Ivy Cottage. But it's completely new. It's bright and modernized inside. Went as a party of 3 couples. Started with a delicious amuse bouche of a squash soup shot. Had the tagliatelle for appetizer. It was so good, I forgot to offer a taste to my wife! For entre, I had the skirt steak. Not only was it tender and perfectly cooked, it was a surprisingly large portion! Kept finding more pieces underneath ones I ate. Dessert was toffee cake. It normally comes with cinnamon ice cream but I asked for vanilla. Two bites after realizing they gave me the cinnamon ice cream, they bright me out a new one with vanilla right away. Service was very good, kept our glasses full all night and was always nearby. Kind of pricy but worth it for a rewarding splurge. Definitely a classy addition to the neighborhood!
Nice, cozy, romantic spot. Food is delish and wine poured generously. Staff is friendly and attentive.
It a great restaurants for any occasion I recommended for people to try it.
