Excellent burgers! If you are thin skinned and can't take a joke suggest carry out. The owner is a riot.....even if he is a Steelers fan, he's still fun.
bomber burger is a must try for burgers in Wichita. The burgers are huge and done right. The fries are fresh cut and tasty. BE WARNED: you need to bring your thick skin though. The owner can dish out the insults with the best of them. This adds to the charm for me, but some are put off by this. Also if you are not a fan of greasy spoons, this probably isn't for you. Finally, I would highly recommend you finish whatever you order. Failing to do so upsets the natives and could be hazardous.
I ate here for the first time today and I have to say, I loved it! The burgers were humongous! I ordered a single cheeseburger and it was so big, I could only eat half. My husband ordered a double cheeseburger and there was EASILU way more than a pound of meat there. They were greasy and exceptionally seasoned. The fries were obviously fresh cut and generously salted. We will be back....especially on those days we are feeling particularly hungry...you'd have to be to finish that burger!
In reviewing thirty different burger restaurants, this was rated number one for me all throughout the city. Some people may be turned off by the owner but I actually enjoy it and am not easily offended. I go here strictly for the food and the burger is certainly worth it.

I have eaten lunch here for over 20 years, great food, helps to call ahead food takes 20 mins to cook and yes Cris is not shy about telling you what he thinks about things.

Good Burger! Great Gun toting American owner who gives down to earth food at a good price. For those of you who don't like this place...... well........ you should stick to frozen turkey burgers.
Solid old school burger joint. If you believe everyone should be politically correct, and feel it is your duty to make sure everyone behaves this way, and like corporate franchise food, you best stay away, as this is not your place. If you are a Spangles shareholder, employee or fan, I'm guessing the sign at the front might send you away also.
However if you want a great burger and fries, and don't mind paying cash, this is your place in Wichita. When you do go, read all the posted menu and the various combinations, you probably will need to have some of them decoded for you, and they will tell you the story if you would like.
The signs and comments add to the appeal of the place, and the grill master knows how to make a good burger. Nothing fancy, just a solid burger in a seriously hole-in-the wall kind of place.
Had the cheese burger with fries, it was a good burger, owner is a funny guy, yes his t-shirt stated burger nazi. But this is the roughest looking place I have ever eat in, place could use a good cleaning and I ain't exaggerating here.
Hands down the best burger in Wichita. The food and service are unlike anything you may be use too. For those that are wondering. This is my number one burger spot. Has been for years! The main reason, aside from the atmosphere. The meat is super fresh everyday, a superior difference you can taste! He only does burgers til the meats gone so watch for the sign at the door. This does not mean he's out of chicken wings just burgers.
A few rules upon entering:
1. Don't expect to get a seat, the place is small and generally packed til closer to 1pm.
2. You must have a sense of humor. If you get a chair. Trust me, if you can't take a joke, it's probably not the spot for ya.
3. Most important, it's a cash only establishment. The burgers are amazing but you gotta pay the piper!
Beefiest burger in town I'm pretty sure. Extremely tasty burger and fries. Order the spicy one! The owner went easy on us because my kid was with me, but the banter is usually fun for those who aren't easily offended. Fun place with great food if you're not a delicate little snowflake. Hope it sticks around for a long time.
Delicious dead cow and he was so funny!! One man show so don't expect super fast. This is an experience. Must go!
Best burger around ! Thick patties cooked to perfection every time, fresh cut potato fries , make sure to throw some jalapeño salt on them 😉
This place is different from any place you will ever go to. Chili is awesome. The owner is a hoot. If you have never been here, you have to go at least once it's a great experience.
No frills, all on the table, hole in the wall burger joint with a cook who knows what he's doing. Cash only joint that's worth a visit.
Service with a smile. Great guy and he makes 1 hell of a burger. You will not leave hungry. The only issue is... He is a steelers fan. Go CHIEFS. I always go with the boss burger. 1 lb patty w/ grilled onion jalapeños cheddar cheese and bacon.. all sautéed in bbq sauce . It is so good. And He recently added wings and onion rings to the menu and as always he uses fresh never frozen all beef Patty's! ! You missing out of you haven't tried it !!
Tried Bomber Burger for the first time on Wednesday for lunch. Great Burger, Fantastic Fries, super cold beer and owner is a hoot. I'll definitely be going back. Remember to bring cash if you go there, no credit catds.
