Great location, great service, GREAT sushi!! Ate at the downtown location for the 1st time for lunch and it was great. Looking forward to making this a staple in my lunches!
Wichita has better to offer.. I've been going to Wasabi for a couple of years. If you're in old town, it's a great place to grab a bite to eat. If you are on the west side of town, or you just want better sushi, you need to go to Ninza. Old Town's Wasabi has the best food, out of the three Wasabi locations in Wichita. I have noticed that the prices have gone up by $1-$2 for their classic/value rolls and I assume the specialty rolls have followed suite.
Like many others, I have had bad service at Wasabi. Read the others comments because they sum it up.
If I had a choice though, I would pick Ninza over Wasabi any day. It's cheaper, tastes better, has an awesome staff, and you don't have to deal with Old Town parking.
A great sushi joint.. My husband and I really love Wasabi Old Town. Our waiters are "usually" nice although we've had our fair share of bad ones. The food is excellent and the price is great too! The only negative I have to say about Wasabi Old Town is one time we went 45 minutes before closing and they told us they wouldn't serve us because they needed to start cleaning for closing time. Weird. . .Overall though, Wasabi Old Town is our favorite place to eat sushi in Wichita!
This restuarant was amazing! Best seaweed salad I have ever had. The sushi tasted so fresh! I will definitely go again! :)

The chirachi was very good, portion size was much better than many sushi restaurants I've been to. Server was a bit inexperienced in answering questions but was friendly and was trying hard. Over all a very positive dining experience. I would recommend Wasabi to others and will be back.

I just stumbled upon Wasabi. Extremely fast service. The Japanese Burrito was very unique-loved it. The rolls were fresh and the waitresses was was very friendly. I would visit again.
Brown Rice Sushi. Love the place. We have tried almost everything and it has all been delicious. However, I so wish they would make brown rice sushi. I cannot digest white rice, and then I could enjoy it a lot more. Just a suggestion.
Great variety. Japanese burrito is a great app. Try the 'to heaven' roll for something a little different.
I love their food! The menu has great options and there is something for everyone. It used to be a fully functional place to dine at dinner time but over time the servers we liked left and now it's just ok. I like to go in when it's not busy (2-4pm) so that the service I get be good enough to enjoy my meal.
