Tasty sandwiches, quiches, pastries and bakery plus great coffee almost like in the stores of Paris and London. The crew is super friendly, nice, attentive and make everyone feel comfortable at the store. Definitely a huge plus. Is on the high price side but quality is really good and service is great. Highly recommended. Thank you
Chocolate Moelleux (French brownie) is rich but slightly dry. Same to the lemon cake. Cheese danish (cream cheese filling) is pretty good. Coffee is standard. Overall, the quality is not bad but also not specifically impressive. Plenty of seating area - seeing some people working in the store.
Paul Patisserie is located in downtown Washington DC in a prime location close to the National Mall. They proudly proclaim their establishment year to be 1889 and their 'L'amour du pain', the love of bread! They also go head to describe the traditional family methods and fresh ingredients that go into their products. What we ordered did taste fresh and wholesome.
There's ample sitting space indoors and outdoors.
They stock a range of sandwiches, croissants, donuts, tarts, macrons and other baked goodies! Very popular during breakfast hours. We ordered omelette with bell peppers and tomatoes along with croissant and pumpkin spice cappuccino. Though a tad slow on deluvery, food was wholesome, tasty and filling. Do try out their coffees as its part of the Paul experience.
Located near the Metro Center station, it's a good place to stop off for a cup of coffee and freshly baked pastry, breakfast or lunch. Menu includes soups, sandwiches, salads and quiches. Currently payment is credit card only.
Exquisite ambiance for dining area both indoor & outdoor seating area. A delicious variety of pastries, coffee & breakfast/brunch items. All freshly made at moderate pricing. Would highly recommend.
With so many chain bakeries and cafes around the area, I decided to stop by this bakery since it's always busy when I walk by it. Decided to try their macaron, and it is really tasty! After eating two, you can really feel the amount of sugar used, but worth it. I'll visit again to try something else on their menu. Glad I finally decided to stop by!

This is a quaint Paul’s that offers a variety of food as per usual Paul’s chains - had to leave a review as both workers Elsie and Alexandra were so wonderful in accommodating both my and my boyfriends requests! Such great energy to be around during this time when everyone is so distant. Wish we could tip them!!! Thanks ladies!
The service was good and the quality was great every time I came to this place. Delicious treats and cappuccino.
A really good French bakery with several locations in the Washington DC area. This is a wonderful place to have a pastry and a hot coffee or cold coffee and sit on the street and watch the world pass by for a few moments. My favorite location is the one next to the Navy Memorial on Pennsylvania Avenue.
The coffee is always perfect, the pastries are incredible, the sandwiches are out of this world BUT what I love the most about Paul are the people that work there. They’re so nice and friendly and just the coolest. I’m always excited to walk in and cut it up with them before taking my coffee and starting the work day. Especially Nahom, he’s the man.
