Ambiance is wonderful, decor is lovely. Took advantage of half priced brunch, the place wasn't crowded and we spent over 3 hours enjoying ourselves. Tried a dish I wouldn't normally order (scrambled eggs & vegetables entree with chicken sausage) it wasn't something I'd order again. But that is just a personal preference the food was prepared perfectly. The appetizers are delicious, can't go wrong with chicken kabobs! Overall great spot, just as good as Busboys if you're really into Mediterranean food.
We went for brunch around 1pm. It wasn't super busy, so it wasn't super loud, and we could talk without yelling across the table. The food was excellent. Two of us had the lamb kabob, one of us had the veggie kabob. The falafel was smaller than I like, but delicious. I had the steak and eggs, also the kale salad, which was gigantor, and very tasty.
Went for an early brunch and it was great. He's the califlour, one of the eggplant dishes, the fritter and the merguez with eggs. The flavours were wonderful and there is a good variety of the menu. Looking forward to going again.
Don't let the name fool you, this restaurant has done it right when it comes to lebanese and middle eastern food. Actually the name has good story but let's talk about what matters. Food, drinks and experience.
We went on Friday night during their first few days of opening. We ordered labne, kibbeh, hummus with meat, fattoush, dolma with meat, fresh juice and lebanese wine. The mezze, tapas style, was more than enough for us that we didn't even order main entree. It was authentic and it was very tasty. We are both lebanese so we know what authentic is.
The prices are very good for this area, very affordable. The fresh juices and drink menu are very good and almost what we get back home.
It is owned by the guys across the street, Bus boys and poets, so you know the service is on point and the experience is always great.
We will go back and definitely for their happy hour and brunch that they will start in few weeks. So happy to see this type of cuisine in our neighborhood.
This restaurant is a wonderful new addition to the neighborhood and I will absolutely be back. Great food, drinks, and ambiance.
Their craft cocktails are superb and they have great happy hour specials. One of the most beautiful restaurant settings in DC. The food is outstanding. If you want a simple meal for cheap, the kabob plates are a great bargain. For mezzas - vegetarian dolmas are a must - so delicious, moist, and flavorful. I also recommend the cauliflower, stuffed cabbage rolls, and eggplant with yogurt.
Tried this place when they had just opened it. Good place to meet up with friends - I found the place bit on the louder side. Would be a good idea to have a reservation as I've found it to be pretty crowded during peak hours.
Food: Good (Mediterranean).

Ambience: Loud and friendly atmosphere; with decent deco.

Having frequented this space previously, I'm delighted to encounter healthy eating options via the extended selection of items on the menu. The salad, which included raisins, grapes and olives, was quite delicious and a sizeable portion. The dolmas were delectable. The service was great, too. Shout out to Simbad!
Great reuse of the former Eatonville and Mulebone. Andy Shallal spices up the 14th St vibe with a lengthy menu and his usual amazing staff with exceptional service. Favorite thing I ate was the Lentil Soup, followed closely by the lamb shank. You can't go wrong with their fresh juices--mirage is the go-to. Don't miss this!
Delicious meal with super fresh ingredients. Enjoyed a fun date night there and will be going back. Would and will recommend to friends.
