We are highly satisfied. My husband and I ordered the single crab cake sandwich, big chair reuben and fries. Everything was so good. Please keep up the good work as related to the quality and freshness of the food you’re serving. It’s definitely needed and appreciated in this neighborhood.

I stopped here on my way from work after seeing this sandwich shop on IG... it's a small spot tucked away on MLK... The restaurant is very clean, service was impeccable and the sandwich was HEARTY !!! I plan on returning to try the crab cake sandwich.
I call them, my new found family. Lol! With my Jive Turkey sandwich! Every time I go, I try something different off the menu. Everything is delicious.
They have some really good mumbo sauce. Wings and sandwiches are delicious!

Enjoyed the crabcake sandwich. The pineapple lemonade is amazing. Can't wait to have the potato salad next time.

I tried this place for the first time. I was pleasantly amazed because the beef pastrami sandwich is sooooo good and tasty!! It was seasoned perfectly (not salty), the bread was fresh and the pastrami was tasty and cooked to perfection. I was mad because I didn’t get two. I will definitely be going back. This is a “healthy choice” to eat in SE DC. I don’t have to drive to VA anymore to get a healthy, tasty sandwich. Thank you MLK DELI for a healthy alternative in SE DC!
I want to give MLK Deli 5 stars for the food I ordered today. However, the lackluster customer service takes away from the experience. On to the positive though, the food.
I ordered a tuna sandwich and the grilled brioche bun stole the show. That bread was so good, I forgot about the tuna. Anything between that bun would have been good. The flat iron toasting on the bun is extra loving from any kitchen. I will be back to try something else and to support this Black-owned neighborhood gem. Better customer service would make this a full 5-star worthy establishment.
I had a great crab cake sandwich stuffed with delicious chunks of crab! Very little filler! That was impressive. However, It was very pricey. I got two sandwiches, two cans of soda and chips. It was flavorful and delicious but I’d think a small side or something to compliment the price tag would help.
