Best buffalo mozzarella cheese I ever have so far and it’s home made . All foods are home made style , don’t have 5 star Michelin presentation but amazing taste and you feel real people make them .
Resturant is cozy and you feel that you are in Italy .

Delicious and authentic Italian food. I had Burrata and Special crab pasta of the day, both were phenomenal! Oh, if you like Rye, try Little Italy for a cocktail;).
Really good for a neighborhood joint. Sat outside and it was pleasant. The octopus was good. The bolognese was so so, a little bland. Could have used some salt and a LOT more simmering. Served on good pappardelle, though. The tiramisu was too creamy and not enough cake soaked in espresso. I did enjoy the pasta plus wine combo for Thursday night special. My friend had the vongole and it was fine. I got takeout cacio y Pepe for my boyfriend and he said it was not good. Very hard dish to get right. Service was ok.

One of our best Italian meals in DC. Creative burrata, fresh (perfectly Al dente) pasta. Meatballs were homemade and very flavorful. Cocktails were a hit. Good deals on carafes of wine.

Just happened to find a killer parking space and decided to eat in the neighborhood. Oh joy. The octopus was perfectly cooked, nicely plated and super hot. I was on the fence about a main course and am grateful I chose the steak also perfectly prepared and atop a smear of gorgonzola cream. Interesting that you're supposed to say I'm Eddie Cano fast and they wear bowling shirts ..
One comes here for the Italian dishes. There is a list of American dishes but that is another story. No reservations needed or offered. While the Italian offerings are classic dishes, these are served with a unique flare with subtle, creative flavorings. You will also find the good service to be Italian. A shout-out to Alessandro. The environment is contemporary with family style seating. We were there on a Wednesday evening and it was reasonably busy for this quiet neighborhood.
Depending on your appetite, you may find the portions small for the price. There are dishes for two offered. However, given the family style seating, I would recommend a few family portioned offerings for sharing.
We had a wonderful time. The food was great. We loved the tiramisu. Best in Washington DC!!!! The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere and is very stylish.
Great place. The food was extraordinary. Owner was friendly, welcoming and funny. Perfect portion size. Highly recommend.
