something I wanted to try out.
I ordered the fries, bowl with onions, purple beets, pickled yellow cauliflower, falafel and some other toppings.
The fries were a bit salty for my preference but hot.
It was good, fresh, healthy food.
Also ordered was the falafel pita sandwich with chickpeas, falafel, onions...every other topping they had available. Still good and healthy.
For me, I'm not use to the food but my friend is used to it. I give good rating on the freshness of the food. The curry ketchup is a must try too, since it's different from everyday stuff.
I've never had Falafel before and it was delicious. The fries are even more magical. But I tried the roast beef sandwich as well and that was amazing. This place is delicious!
This is one place everyone in DC needs to visit when hunger sets in. Great atmosphere & falafels with every fixing you could imagine!!!
This is one of the best falafel places I’ve tried in US. What makes it special, I think, is that you can chose your own things to add, so it’s not the same tomato-lettuce-hummus-onion all over again. Falafel itself is good too. Fries could’ve been better but I guess America doesn’t like that type of fries that I do:)
Amazing place to have wholesome food. The food was fresh and tasty! The nicest part was that while getting any bowl you can choose your own toppings/choices of salads (as much as you can fit in the bowl) ;)
I worked next to Lafant Plaza station. We go for lunch many times in this complex. I like falafel and this is one of the restaurant that I eat falafel. They have really good falafel bowl in comparison with Roti Mediterranean. They have hard crunchy awesome falafel. However, they don't have any topping with like lettuce or vegetables that feel good when we food. They have lots of sauces and mostly all pickled veggies. I would love if they add rice or lettuce kind of veggies that feel good with falafel. Other than this is really good place. They have tahini pump that is my favorite and garlic sauce pump with other sauces. Price is little expensive in comparison with Roti.
Amsterdam Falafelshop is the best!! I will go out of my way to grab a falafel bowl ANY day! It’s that good! Staff is very friendly, food is always delicious. If you’ve never been, you’re missing out! Go try it.
It was good, but would be helpful for those of us that are not familiar with Greek food to have pairing suggestions so we know what to put with our Falafel.

Wow, hard to get to but Totally worth it!! I ordered the falafel in a pita and you fill it yourself! Great filling options and delicious sauces, too. I wish they were in LA!!
