Wonderful anniversary dinner at Lupo Verde Osteria, a cozy Italian restaurant in the Palisades. Waitstaff were very attentive, patient and friendly. Chef paid careful attention to food allergies and made substitutions when necessary. The slight hiccup, medium rare ny strip we ordered came well-done, was immediately rectified.
We had:
Polipo- sautéed octopus with olive and tomato ragu served over bone marrow
Carciofi alla Giudia - fried artichokes with parsley sauce
Funghi pizze - pizza topped with roasted mushrooms,truffle ricotta, black truffle honey
Tagliata di manzo - 14oz ny strip, fingerling potatoes with Demi-glaze vinaigrette
Vitello alla parmigiana - veal chop parmigiana, tomato sauce, mozzarella, pasta pomodoro
Tiramisu
Chocolate soufflé
Pistachio cannolis
Our food was delicious and beautifully presented. The standout was the pizza, the crispness in the crust, tangy sweetness from the roasted mushrooms and truffle honey just made it so good!
Desserts were all excellent.
Downright delicious. I don't know enough about Italian food to vouch for its authenticity, but I can tell it is leaps and bounds better than quite a number of other Italian restaurants in the area.
Best cacio Pepe in DC, even have rice or corn gluten free pasta options. I prefer the corn pasta. Good selection of wines by the glass and served at the proper temp. Whites not so cold and reds not so warm.
This place was amazing, we went there for a last minute Sunday dinner and the whole experience was great, we had two kids under two and everyone at the restaurant was so accommodating to the kids while we ate, bringing them chips and crayons and keeping them entertained from time to time. Our waitress had great concrete recommendations and was super sweet. We ended up ordering and trying many dishes she recommended which did not disappoint! Highly recommend the ox tail appetizer, risotto with truffles, cacio e pipe, and the veal however you really can't go wrong with any of the dishes!

We had such a wonderful afternoon brunch celebrating family reunions after Christmas holidays. The food was phenomenal and the children were greatly satisfied with their upscale pasta dishes. After all, when a three-year-old tells you that this was the best spaghetti that she had ever had that really goes to say that children can tell a grocery store pasta apart from the one that was freshly made from scratch. The desert was fabulous. As you can tell from a little boy the Nutella Donuts were a great hit. Great selection of beer and liquor 👌 the staff had a patience and friendliness. The kids were treated as if they were corporate executives, with properly placed silverware and settings. Very memorable family brunch indeed.
Our waitress was showing good knowledge and serviced us very kindly. The food was absolutely amazing! well made and very sophisticated. Menu is a little bit pricey but definitely worth the experience. Highly recommend!

being able to sit at one table in a private room and sharing the magnificent food and drinks with my closest people was a real unforgettable experience.
I certainly felt like I was not in any particular restaurant but rather in a magic spot surrounded by closest people.
The staff was not only on top of switching out the plates and making sure everybody had their glass is full but were gorgeous looking people! They always had something nice to say or offered to take a group picture and super friendly.
I have yet to try better pasta. In fact I don't want to try any other pasta after having this food. I'm shocked to say that when I asked my teenage kids what they like the best about the three-course meal that we enjoyed they answered that it was a very difficult decision between the salads in the pasta. My kids enjoyed eating salads. That phrase alone is worth everything
The private room felt like a portal into happiness with a gorgeous view of Palisades and a really wonderful heavy Barn Door to separate us from reality. I must say it's a wonderful unique opportunity to have an outing indoors with a complete safety of private room and open Windows as an option.

Quaint place with good food and service but a odd music vibe. Had a good lunch and service and food were very good. The music selection was weird.

We really loved this restaurant and will go back again soon. Reminded me of a quaint little European family-owned bistro.
Our dessert was especially delicious👍
