From an excellent menu to great beer selections to knowledgeable, caring staff, The Bier Baron Tavern is one of my favorite venues. Whether performing or a part of the audience, I know that The Bier Baron Tavern is invested in co-creating THE best experience for everyone. Kudos Team! <3

Drove from NC to DC to attend the annual 'Give and Giggle' toy drive show and had an amazing time. Show was downstairs in the smaller room. Food, service and comics were great! Definitely will be going back when I'm in the area.

I always enjoy thos intimate comedy club. I love to get there about 40 mins before my show starts so I can grab me a spot at the bar. The food and drinks are good!! And the staff is super friendly. Check out their schedule and get your laugh on. This time around I got to see the legendary Comedian Pierre. There is a large bar and eat in space in the basement.

Love the intimacy of the place. Anywhere you sit you are front and center for the shows. The food was surprisingly good. Would attend another event there again.

Had a great time seeing TJ Miller perform at the Comedy Loft. The venue is pretty packed, but not impossible to navigate. And while I understand that they make their money off their 2 item minimum, its kind of insulting to have $13 Shock Top beer on the menu. The food ordered was good, but I am hard pressed to pay crazy prices for mediocre beer.

Visiting this comedy club for the first time, they have a requirement of a minimum of two items per person in the showroom. We explored the basement, which had an intimate and dimly lit ambiance. While the place could benefit from an upgrade as it appeared somewhat old and run-down, the positive vibes and excellent customer service made up for it. They offer an impressive selection of beers, although we didn't have the chance to sample the food. The comedians' performances were decent; we attended a show in the basement and decided to stay for open mic night. All in all, it's a fantastic spot to socialize and enjoy a night of comedy.

Great (and I mean GREAT beer) food surprisingly good. Very small crowd for an early show on a Saturday evening. Comedians were good but it was a tough crowd (3 drunk birthday girls harassing the opening act, one Politically Correct girl who forgot she was at a comedy club). None the less, had a great time.

Small, dive bar venue that needs some work done to it. Very small bathrooms, tight seating, and no convenient parking. Drink prices are standard for DC, but they ran out of ice, so all soft drinks weren't chilled. Could have been better, but the show itself was fun, so I would come back again.

Attentive and discreet table service throughout the Katie Boyle show. Prices were at the upper end of my budget, but no worse than expected with a captive audience. And the food was delicious. Cost was just over $110 for one dinner, one appetizer, and five drinks. Are there cheaper bars and comedy clubs? Sure, but this isn't any worse than hanging out at REI's microbrew, and we only paid ~$45 for two tickets to see a rising headliner.

This place is small, but unique! It is a vibe. It gave me the intimacy that I like when seeing a live performance. The prices of drinks and food wasn't bad. The service was good. Will come back if another one of fans is performing here. I saw Rod Man and I loved him.
