Had the pleasure of having dinner with my goddaughter and her daughter today. Everyone had a craving for a good burger. We tried this new place called Craft Burger Bar. It gives you a country, western bar and grill flavor when you enter. Televisions lined the walls with a large bar.Plenty of seating. Seems to be a pretty popular place with the locals. We had a very nice waitress.
We ordered between the 3 of us burgers, wings, fries and the best onion rings. Had not had onion rings in a while and you got plenty. They had a good assortment of burgers to choose from and plenty of different sides. The wings were good to and came in different flavors. I order sliders and a grill chicken wrap to take home. The food was very tasty and not over cooked
We all enjoyed ourselves. Great place to go for a good burger!
Amazing burger, The Cartel. It was spicy in a flavorful not overdone way. I ate the Chili from around the outside with a fork first, so you could say it was messy but I'm not complaining.
The Tater Tots were crispy, although over salted... That would be the one thing I'd reduce my review for but I'm not going to do that over some Tots.
Great beer selection, friendly gals behind the bar helped me pick out a beer when I couldn't decide. I'd highly recommend this joint.
Excellent find! The food is amazing, tried a wagu burger so good! Our server was very attentive and understanding as we had our kids with us. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great, it wasn't too loud and definitely family friendly. The tator tots were equally as awesome! If you want a burger you want to come here! Trust me you won't regret it! The wait is a little long, totally worth it though! Enjoy!
This restaurant is a great place to get a burger. I have been here for plenty of times and they have never disappointed. The staff is great, the food is great, and the environment is great! They have a lot of choices of different types of burgers, including a choice to make your own. The amount of food you get for the price that you pay is also fair. If you have not yet to try this place, I would recommend giving it a shot it will not disappoint!
The burgers are so good. You can customize or just order them as described in the menu. The default side is either waffle fries or tots but you can upgrade for an extra price. We also tried their wagyu nachos and it is huge! We will be coming back to try the rest.
Craft Burger Bar is located in Shore Drive in Virginia Beach. I usually don’t eat many burgers 🍔 but when I do Craft Burger Bar is the place. I always order take out. Craft Burger Bar has great menu options to please everyone. I usually order the Rising Sun, Mac Daddy Burger, or Willie Nelson. The waffle fries and tots are good. Craft Burger Bar is extremely busy during peak hours. Expect to wait 20-30 minutes.
I have to start out that our server was the best. I hate I didn’t get her name. It was hard to decide which burger to get. The food was high quality and tasted so good. We will definitely come back when we’re back in this area.
Great burger spot tucked into a strip mall. Next. To a Laundromat. Service was on point, Sam was super attentive and worked multiple tables with grace. Glasses were never empty. Had multiple burgers, Boss, Whiskey and Aristocrat. All came at correct temp and piled high. Fries taste double fried and the sweet potato come with brown sugar cinnamon dipping sauce. Highly recommend.
We have found a winner! It's a hole-in-the-wall in a small strip shopping center... The food & service was excellent! Started with a local craft beer, Three Notch'd Minute Man New England IPA. On to the excellent tasting SheCrab Soup. The Thai salad was delicious. Ordered the Chesapeake Burger with raw red onions... cooked perfectly the way I asked. It was so good I came back the next day and ordered it again! Wife ordered their soft crab burger and loved it. I came into town and wanted a good burger and a beer. Craft Burger Bar exceeded my expectations... two thumbs up. I'll be back for sure!
This was our first visit on a friend's recommendation. It is easy to get to and has great atmosphere. We came on week night and although the place was packed, we didn't wait to be seated. The burgers all feature wagyu beef and there are enough selections that there is bound to be option that for most.
I had the sunrise and it was prepared exactly as I asked. My wife had the whiskey, which features fried pimento cheese. She had to send hers back because it was overdone, but it was the only one of 8 at our table that wasn't perfect. The staff jumped right on it to make it right and she loved the fix.
I'll say this about wagyu. I don't understand the hype. Maybe a gourmet burger isn't the best use of it because the complexity of the other toppings will overwhelm the beef. In other words, if I didn't know it was wagyu, I wouldn't have known anyhow because of the blends if all the flavors. That said, everyone enjoyed their burgers and we'll be coming back.
