It was my first time there and I was really impressed! The food was fast and tasted fresh. I had the shrimp po’boy and they aren’t shy on the shrimp. Definitely recommend it!
Good food, good prices. The staff was willing to accommodate special requests for food allergies. This was a quick place to pickup some food after leaving Funville which is two doors down.
Great hole-in-the-wall place. The lady working at the counter was so sweet! You walk up to the counter and order and they bring the food to your table. Great place for a family meal. Really awesome authentic food and very affordable!
A great place for a fish sandwich! The atmosphere is kinda bland, and not really much of a waitstaff, but the food is great!!
Ordered the family fried shrimp. Comes with two large sides. We opted to get it to go. The smell inside the restaurant was very odd and we almost turned back before ordering. The order came out quicker than I expected. The server asked if I needed anything and requested some tarter sauce. For 2 pounds of shrimp we were allotted one tiny container. I asked for more and was told they were $0.25 each. I just dropped almost $50 with tax and tip and you’re going to try and get another dollar out of me? I thought that was very poor customer service on the owners part. The server was only doing what she’d been instructed to do. I’d have given three stars but the shrimp and corn cakes were very good. And I’m glad I didn’t pay for additional tart sauces because it was not good at all. Might be back if in the neighborhood again but won’t be making a special trip there.
Went on Saturday and this was my first time visiting. I ordered food for me and my child and the plan was to head home and eat it. Well, that didn't happen because we sat in the parking lot and ate it. My mom called and I was speaking so highly of the food and how well it tasted that I ended up heading right back inside to place an order for my mother and take it to her. Great food, reasonably priced and pleasant staff. I will indeed return!
Just had the two-piece Whiting and shrimp dinner with mac and cheese and collard greens and a piece of cake. It's been a long time since I've had a meal that good. Service was great employees were helpful. It really is worth the money.
Fat fish sandwich is HUGE! Definitely an item to share unless you’re a BIG eater. Reasonably priced menu. Fresh seafood, variety of options. The staff is also very friendly. We typically call ahead to avoid a wait and the food is always ready upon arrival.
Staff is very friendly. The portion and price of their signature fish sandwich are awesome. I literally could take one home, get a couple of extra buns, and make three reasonable human-sized sandwiches out of the filling of a single fat fish sandwich!
Boss wanted to try something new. Picked this place. So happy she did. Boss got the fat fish sandwich and my co-worker and I got the Fish and Shrimp dinner. Well worth the price! Food was amazing. Well seasoned and the fish was perfect. I will definitely been coming back.
