This McDonald's stays busy because of the location. But they are always friendly, and they have never messed up my order. I gave the food a 4 out of 5 because last time I went, my burger was a little dry and sloppy. But it was still good because I was really hungry.
I came during a busy lunch rush. I placed my order on the app and decided to pick it up inside. While I waited for my food I observed an employee killing the service game! She was running orders outside, answering customer questions, visiting tables, and taking orders at the register(even a few difficult ones). Her sense of urgency was fantastic and she remained customer focused the whole time. As a former restaurant manager I would’ve wanted her on my team! Her name was Quantaz and she deserves some recognition!
Awesome staff! Very hospitable and friendly. Even with the proper time of day greeting. I miss the Hampton/Tidewater area and cannot wait to move back. The manager prepared my order and even put smiley face stickers on my bag, and drink. Then went above and beyond by making small talk regarding if I was dining in or taking my food out. Other McDonalds in the area and around the country can take some training from the store manager who greeted and served me. Thank ya’ll so much! 😎😁
Luis, Robin, and Gary are amazing and fantastic staff they are definitely an asset to this Mc Donald's! They treat customers like Chickfila treat their customers. However, Matthew the manager is terrible and he treat customers like Popeyes treat their customers and he is for certain a liability to the restaurant and is the reason McDonald's have a bad reputation. Due to Matthew attitude I couldn't rate the service a 5 star. I'm happy that Robin, Luis, and Gary exist because they truly know the meaning of customer service. I hope they can provide training to Matthew in the near future so he can learn how to treat his staff and customers. You can tell he is only there for a check and dislike his job. There is a big difference when you value what you do and your job.

It’s a bit busy at times, but what fast food restaurants aren’t. They have good customer service and employees that care about their customers and their experiences with them. Busy most of the time because of their location.
The staff was great and the food was really good. Great job McDonald's, keep it up.
Service was extremely SLOW, staff looked angry and attitude was dismissive. Employees were on break sitting around the Dinning area.
It seems that they may have hired new staff and managers. The drive-thru service was great from the employees. Very friendly and courteous. I haven't had issues in the past, but this experience was above and beyond. Pleasant employees make customers want to revisit the establishment.

The food is usually pretty fresh and usually taste really good. The parking lot is set up kinda weird due to having to enter from cracker barrel. Parking lot is usually dirty but security from the mall patrols the lot so that's nice. After 10pm expect to wait in the drive thru line.
It's 2 AM and the food is awesome
