I stumbled across this place looking for a lunch away from the office. I ordered their lunch plate of a quarter chicken with two sides and drink for $7.00 and was hugely impressed with both the portions and flavor of the meal. The chicken was moist and spicy, the fried rice was deeply flavorful and fresh, the fried plantains were tender while still being firm. I'd highly recommend trying this place.

Best pollo a la brasa I’ve had yet in Virginia. All the sides were amazing as well, and the prices are great. The family that owns this place is so friendly and welcoming. Take it from a chef of Peruvian cuisine.

I had seen this place for a while and decided to give it a try a month ago. The chicken is absolutely fantastic. I love getting the arroz chaufa and the maduros as sides. I am glad this place is around. Only issue is the A/C is not working so dining in right now is a chore in this heat. Perhaps I'll try their other dishes down the line.

Chicken has a wonderful seasoning. The yuca could have a garlic sauce, would it have been better. Great rice.

Original review (after 2 visits for lunch): A hole in the wall in all the right ways. Prices are great. Portions are great. Flavor is phenomenal. I hope they don't change a thing! Update: Took the wife and kids in for dinner tonight. Ordered the family meal and it did not disappoint. Owner's, again, we're super nice. Apologized for the lack of ice but brought out cups and our 2 liter (comes with the family meal) had obviously been in the fridge. Even though the family meal is "a whole chicken" (plus sides and a 2L), they had no problem quartering it for us. I will definitely be going back! PS: Please remember that this is a small business and they close at 7:00 PM. They did not rush us out at all even though it was just after 7:00 as we we're wrapping up, but I'm sorry we kept them from cleaning up and getting home! :)

I was not expecting much in a last minute restaurant choice....BUT LET ME TELL YOU THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!! I tried the beef heart, 1/4 chicken and french fries with hot dogs. Every bite brought a wave of flavors and emotions! I may even ask if they have someone in the family that's single looking for a man 🤣🤣🤣🙈🙈🙈

Have visited a couple of times and the chicken has always tasted great. This time I ordered a quarter chicken with Arroz chaufa and yuca fries. The rice was good although I tasted a bit much of ginger. The yuca fries were fried to their perfect doneness; crispy golden crust on the outside and soft on the inside. The chicken was full of flavor not only on the skin but throughout the chicken. Everything tasted fresh. The accompanying yellow and green sauces complemented the food; the green sauce had enough kick to enhance the flavors of the chicken while the yellow velvety sauce elevated the taste of the yuca fries. The servings are plentiful. The place is kept very clean. They only have 6 tables as their main focus appears to be to go orders; the place is big enough to double the amount of tables and more. The lighting is florescent ceiling grid and the decorations are very limited; mostly white walls. If dining in don't expect full service. You order at the counter and they'll bring out your food and drink and leave you to enjoy your food. Everything is served on disposable wares. The menu is extremely limited as they only have rotisserie chicken and multiple sides. Sometimes they have a promotional dish but that's about it. They have great prices; they should charge more to ensure their business succeeds. This is a great alternative to fast food: it's flavorful and healthier. I highly recommend this place for a quick bite or to go as they provide good and quick service.

Had the Papa Rellena and Peruvian fried rice for lunch. The Papa rellena is a mashed potato ball stuffed with ground beef, olives and eggs. I really enjoyed this dish especially with their house hot sauce. The Rellenas was really filling and for 2 it's only $8. Good stuff!

An impressive quick order grab and go place with one of the most tender tasty Peruvian Rotisserie in the Dam Neck, VA area. Highly recommended! I will return to try another dish by the name of Lomo Saltado (stirred fried beef terderloin with red onions and sliced tomatoes. Its another favorite dish of mine.

So flavorful! The chicken was seasoned to perfection and juicy. The green and yellow sauce was delicious. Had to get extra. My husband had the 1/2 chicken and white rice pictured. I had the 1/2 chicken, fried rice and plantains. Definitely will go back again and again.

I wrote a hella lengthy review the same night we went, and unfortunately it vanished. Just go. Get the chicken family meal thing. For $40, we fed 5 people for days. It was so frickin delicious I saved the bones/scrap, made my own stock, and dumped everything together for soup. Even that was frickin incredible, because whatever they do to roast those beauty mahogany birds is magic. Ignore the kind of lackluster, strip-mall store front--it is the definition of a hidden gem. Don't be suspicious of the counter guy's perfect English--there's someone's Mama or Auntie back in the kitchen who's throwing down some serious spice skills. Don't expect standard Mexican food type beans, or rice, or anything else for that matter---it is not that. Just order everything and have faith. I promise you won't be sorry.

Pico De Oro is my catering go-to spot. When my kids graduated from high school, I used Pico De Oro for their graduation parties in 2018 and 2019. Everyone loved the food so much that when they graduated from college in 2022 and 2023, it was requested to use them again. We ordered chicken, fried rice, beans, and plantains, and all my friends and family loved the food. The owners handled the orders from start to finish professionally in person and over the phone. I highly recommend this business.
