Golden Corral in Independence Boulevard, Virginia Beach is my favorite excellent place during the Ability Center of Virginia where they now serving ice cold regular Coca-Cola Classic which is my only most popular favorite soda pop! My favorite foods I love to eat are Spaghetti, Macaroni & Cheese and Pizza and dipping marshmallows into the chocolate fountain at the buffet restaurant I love back in Chesapeake when I was a child.

The prime rib was amazing. Some of the best I have ever had!
This location always has a full parking lot!
Food: Was delicious! Hubby tried most if the meats- they were very flavorful!
The Mexican/Spanish beans and rice were super bursting with flavors!
I loved the Chicken sausage Pasta!
There were plenty of desserts including ice cream cones!
Service: Service was Friendly!
Hygiene: Its really neat and clean. We went for dinner, around 7 p.m. They were wiping areas both near the food and tables. Its fully carpeted. Everything was clean except the floor had crumbs; obviously its impossible to clean floors when the dining area is so full!
Ambience: Well lit, good, happy, pleasant vibe!
One of the best Golden Corral restaurants in Tidewater. The food is well-presented, there's constant cleaning including the bathroom. There is plenty of variety here as well as some old school classic comfort food. The best thing is the entire experience represents staff and management that care about quality.
Usually, the food is very good but on this visit some foods on buffet were not hot, such as the pot roast/beef showed red when cut (cooked too fast) green beans and no bourbon chicken, no fried chicken breast and just a few legs. Was able to get Hot rolls which are very good. Cornbread looked good but was heavy. The mash potatoes were thick and didn't taste the same.
The food was very good. The service was ok. Everyone was polite. Keeping drinks and coffee cups full will help raise review numbers. We love the new fireplace. That made it very cozy. I wish there was some heat coming out of it. It was a little chilly.
Loved it loved it loved it. Customer service and the staff was way beyond welcoming. We felt wanted to be served on and the restaurant smelled delicious. The food was fresh, crispy, hot and it tasted delicious. The atmosphere was excellent, nothing but positive vibes. Restrooms were nicely fresh and clean. Higly recommended to come have a good good meal here any day. Don't forget to tip your servers as they are all super friendly.
Foods good and you can get in and out pretty quick if needed. Don’t let anyone tell you the foods not good either. I had delicious Pork Chops, Steak Chicken, Green Beans and Collards and they were all delicious. My server was very nice too.
Recently, I went to the Golden Corral on Independence Blvd in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Golden Corral is not fine dining, but it is a family-friendly place. I was surrounded by mostly families with children who were well behaved and who weren't overly loud. I approach the food at Golden Corral as tasty comfort food. They present their food in a buffet-style format. The atmosphere is clean and well lite. Honestly, I can go there and just eat their yeast bread smothered with honey butter. I like this place and see myself going back there someday soon.

This was my first time eating at Golden Corral and chose to do so because my family suggested it and assured me it would be good. They were right! So many options to choose from convinced me to change my opinion about buffets as limited and overpriced. I loved the salad and dessert bar. But I was also impressed by the quality of the seafood. My only pet peeve was the slow response to clean the tables where my family was going to sit. Unfortunately, it was the only table available to sit our number of people, so waited for quite a while. However, the dining experience eventually took over that one distraction. I would dine here again the next time I’m in town visiting.
I attended the Veteran's free buffet and have to give a shout out to all the staff. They were extremely busy but made sure we all were seated and served with beverages as quickly as possible. Even the wait on line was pleasant because we Veterans got to interact and reminisce. Thank you once again Golden Corral for your support.
This was our first time coming here to this location. Everyone was friendly. I must say this is the very first golden corral that we have come to and the staff is on top of keeping the food well stocked. We didn't have to wait for anything. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend coming here. When, we are back in the area, we will come back.
