Honestly, reading through the reviews of Twist I just don’t understand the negative comments, the menue is by far the best in the area, and the staff make you feel like you’re the most important person in the room, every single time. When you go you have to request Tyler, passionate and well versed in all things cocktail, he takes a great establishment and elevates it that much more. Can’t recommend enough. Cheers!
By far, best cocktails I have tried in Virginia Beach, Highly recommend to go ask for Tyler (one of their amazing bartenders) I can guarantee you he’ll blow your mind!!!! Twist has won me as a client for life. I will definitely keep coming back!

My husband and I ended up eating here, because it wasn't super crowded and the posted menu outside looked good. We'd never heard of this restaurant before and he originally wanted to eat at the Yard House but they had a 45 minute wait and we were hungry and didn't want to wait. We were greeted at Twist and asked if we'd like to sit outside, in the dining room downstairs or the lounge upstairs. We chose the downstairs dining room. The decor and atmosphere were appealing and all of the staff was friendly and professional. The food was served quickly. The waiter, Cooper, was excellent and adorable. Overall, we had a lovely dining experience! We would definitely return to dine again and we recommend trying Twist. My husband had the Prohibition Burger and I had the lobster Mac and cheese. It was a huge amount of food and we both took a to go box full home with us and there is enough for an entire second meal later. We parked for free in the Market Street parking garage. The restaurant is located to the left of the Westin and on the other end of the block from the Yard House.
I ordered the steak bites to start, which came with a dipping sauce. Medium well. They were perfectly prepared. No pics tho. My entrée was the maple bacon glazed salmon & crabcake which came with yellow rice & seasonal vegetables (brocolini). The salmon & crabcake were delicious & needed no help. The rice was lightly flavored & the brocolini needed help. Butter salt and pepper to be specific. For my drinks I had a lavender lemon drop martini and a Tennessee Honey crush. No complaints there. Next time I will head straight for the crushes tho. And since I ordered 1 of the most expensive meals they offer, I can work my way down the menu. My party arrived at 8p.m, and lighting was not optimal. Service was great. Overall a great experience. Will try dinning there again soon.
Delicious! Elegant! Amazing service. My husband and I spent our 14th wedding anniversary at Twist Martini and we had a marvelous night. Making a reservation was easy. Eating there was enjoyable and the drinks and dessert were excellent. Amazing service as well. We will return again and again!!
Have had many good experiences here so finally getting around to a review. The food is great and the martinis are excellent. Be careful with some the martinis...some of them have almost NO alcohol taste, and you can quickly down a few, but its definitely in there! Will update this post with pics when I can! It gets loud in the restaurant, only reason it gets 4 stars in atmosphere.

If you are looking for incredible, original cocktails, then this is your best option. I think we ordered 4 drinks and not only were the original drinks amazing but the traditional amaretto sours were great too. The food was excellent and well prepared. The service was a shade slow and they automatically apply 18% gratuity to your bill. I'd definitely come back for drinks.
When visiting Towne Center in Virginia Beach you’ve got to go to Twist Martini! Great food and fabulous vibe! They are have a reserved room area where you can host a nice party or book for your special event. Highly recommend this place. The chef is so talented and amazing!
Slipped in during YNot Wednesday to grab a few appetizers on the patio while the band outside played. Patio seating was quick and our server very friendly. Tried the deviled eggs, fried shrimp, & wings. All good but my only tweak would be lighter batter in shrimp. The Caesar dressing was delicious, which I got a side of for my house salad. Will return again for dinner. They also have live music!!!!
Had multiple great experiences at Twist. The bartenders, severs, chef have all be amazing. Maloree and Megan are both solid. I will certainly be a repeat customer.
