Visited this past weekend while visiting from Chicago. Restaurant staff was friendly and service was efficient. Food was yummy and arrived quickly. I had the blacken tuna wrap medium rare. I was surprised how much tuna was in the wrap well worth the price! I would highly recommend checking them out.
Great service from PARKER!! The burgers gave me that "fresh off an outdoor grill" taste. Cooked perfect to my request. And deliciously crispy tater tots!!! 👍🏾

We stopped by for a quick dinner before shopping and we were pleasantly surprised. I had the Firecracker burger which was cooked perfectly. I only wished they had regular fries, but the tater tots and sweet potato fries were really good. The service was excellent! We will be back for sure!
Took my wife for the first time , She got the shrimp tacos and they were good. The shrimp tasted good and the tacos were good. I got the sweet thai chicken wrap and it was also good , little heat but was cut by sweetness of the sauce. Also shared the crab and corn fritters on the appetizer menu , to me and my wife they were fried too dark. They had some almost burned spots on them and also tasted a little burnt in some spots. Asked waitress and She said they had to fry them like that to get inside done. To me and my wife being the type not to like a lot of filler , these had a Lot. The insides that weren't over fried was still a little wushy. They had good flavor though
Flip Flops is popular amongst local residents to Red Mill and the surrounding neighborhoods. It was visited by Guy Fieri when he visited Hampton Roads and boasts his signature brand on the wall by the entrance.
Their burger selection is great. Menu is not especially healthy but they have some interesting items and a huge selection of burgers with some interesting toppings.
Came here for a working lunch with a friend and was pleasantly surprised by the burger.

Was in town for family emergency. The waitress and owner were just amazingly friendly. The food was outstanding. Husband got the bang bang shrimp, cooked perfectly. I don’t know what is in that bang bang sauce they make but OMG. I got a jerk chicken wrap, seasoned perfect and the grilled pineapple in it was fantastic little sweet hint. The slaw y’all, the slaw reminded me of way back in the day when KFC slaw had a small hint a heat and was fresh, but this was so much better. Highly recommend ❤️
I went here on Saturday, it was absolutely amazing! I had the chicken and shrimp burrito as well as the lobster with mashed potatoes for my entree and the brownie sundae, absolutely delicious!! I can't wait to come back! Conner was our server and he was great!
We went here bc we saw Guy from diners , drive in's and drives, so wanted to check it out. We went on a Saturday night around 6 o'clock. We got in with no wait and were served quickly. We all had pina coladas. Then ordered a Tuna seared salad, their Turkey club and a Beach burger. All was great! As you can see from the pics we started eating and forgot to take the pics lol. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars bc I felt a little rushed out of there, bc they were getting crowded. But overall, great place to check out.
Salmon tacos and sweet potato fries were perfect! Blackened tuna with Caribbean rice were excellent! Cute spot with a great island vibe! Sure to be a great stop! Take back your FREEDOMS and visit this restaurant.
Great staff and what an awesome atmosphere! The lunch and dinner specials are top notch. A must visit whether you are on vacation or a local that's never tried it out, you won't be disappointed.
