This BBQ house celebrates the military and first responders with decorations throughout. It has benches at tables, booths and even high tables and chairs. It does have outside seating as well. The place is clean and organized. I ordered the 2 meat sampler plate with ribs and moist brisket. The brisket is very moist, and the meat on the ribs came off so easily. In addition, i had coleslaw and baked beans. There were at least 6 different sauces to choose from on your table. I chose the Texas Tangy. It wasn't too spicy, but you could taste the little kick. We got our orders in 3 or 4 minutes after ordering. They also had people cleaning the restaurant. So, if you are looking for some Texas BQ, then try the Mission BBQ, and you will be satisfied!
Amazing bbq place. Passed it while coming home from the outlet mall.looked up menu and said “yup gotta try it…” well I gotta say 100% must go again. Hot fresh bbq chicken & I got some nice bbq sausage …. Amazing. As you eat there’s patches from all over world from police departments & military. Very nice place. In the area or make yourself to be in area. Well worth it!!! Got a free dessert as well for working in law enforcement. Thank you again btw….
Pure satisfaction. My first time there. So 999999 visits left. I am going to spread the information about this temple of meat lovers around the world. 🙃😄Food is nothing but delicious. The staff is friendly and really professional. Respect for soldiers and other services. I am active military and felt like someone special. Greetings for the Mission BBQ crew. Radek
Our go to meal place for nothing fancy but great food and service. Go in order at the counter and they call your name when ready to collect. So many types of BBQ sauce on offer at the tables for free and home made vinegar. Prices are very reasonable for the portion size and I would recommend anything off their menu.
Going in you are greeted to that great BBQ smell and a happy hello. I am scottish so not biased to the American way.
Menu items are easy to understand and plenty of drink options. The atmosphere and decoration is very salute to military and it's brilliant. Pictures everywhere of former and current service members, a real pleasure of an establishment. Patriotism at its best the national anthem is sung at midday everyday.
Mission BBQ catered our wedding (150 people) and they were terrific. On time, food was wonderful, the staff was even better.
PS - Catering from Mission > normal food served at Mission.
Brisket burnt ends are to die for
I’d given this restaurant 5 stars before because they give Veterans such great food, and outstanding service every Veteran’s day. I always get the brisket and (moist means a little more marbling and a lot more delicious flavor) to tantalize your taste 👅 buds! I went in again Dec 2022 and Ken was the new manager. He gave me the best warm bread pudding with great textures going on. Trinity waited on me and had someone drop me brand new hot fries… she’s awesome and so we’re they. My favorite sauce is the Nashville hot and the Alabama white sauce is great on fries. They also have a shaker of Old Bat seasoning. The lemonade had fresh lemons 🍋 in the container! I recommend their food highly and plan to return soon and often.
Mission BBQ is pretty good. Wouldn't call it the best BBQ spot in the area. I have ordered from here twice and the sauce is what makes the meat taste great. Other than that I find it to be quite average. Love that they do a free sandwich for veterans on Veterans Day though! They were very busy but were dedicated to serving everyone as fast as possible.
The food was delicious, the staff were awesome, and the joint supports many great causes. Will definitely come back!
Wow, I’m from Texas and I’m picky about my barbecue, but wow was this place good! I had to Frankenstein my barbecue sauce a little bit from all their choices, but it was so good
Upon entering, I was promptly greeted. The service was fast and everyone was super friendly! I ordered the brisket sandwich combo with the bun on the side. You can choose lean or moist for your brisket and I chose moist. The brisket was flavorful and definitely not dry. The Mac and cheese was creamy but needed a little flavor so I just added a dash of salt and pepper— that did it! The collard greens were delicious, perfectly seasoned. They are cooked in a chicken broth with onions, tomatoes and their special spices. I’d never had tomatoes cooked in my greens before, it was a great addition. I got the smoky mountain sauce and GA mustard sauce on the side. All of their sauces are delicious. The salmon is also a favorite of mine, however they run out quickly.. There’s something for everyone Mission BBQ.
