Cozy and quaint like eating with Aunt Bee in Mayberry. Had Sunday breakfast with the best Eggs Benedict in Vero. Wife had a homemade giant biscuit with her tasty omelet. Waited 45 minutes at an upscale joint on 14th Ave, waited no more than 15m at KK with a bigger crowd. This place and Macs Fillin Station, also on Dixie Hwy are great local joints.
Had breakfast for lunch and it was so good. Also ordered coconut cream pie for lunch and brought home a piece of pecan pie and they were both excellent. I would go back just for the pies. The staff was friendly and attentive. The place was hopping.
Very nice breakfast/lunch place. Staff friendly and the food came quick and exactly as we ordered it. Cash only but they have an ATM. Only comment would be to put just a bit more salt/pepper. We happily recommend and look forward to trying again!
Our breakfast was super! They have homemade biscuits and muffins.
We both had omelets and homefries.

We go here often. If you are looking for upscale fine breakfast dining look somewhere else. But if you are looking for a good breakfast at very reasonable prices you have come to the right place. They only accept cash. I read other reviews and looks like every one star review was because they only accept cash. People who have never owned a small business do not understand the cost of CC swipe fees. They can be very high. Also bad checks are an issue. So I understand why they are cash only. I thought your review was to be about the price, service, quality of food and atmosphere.
Good breakfast, fast service and friendly staff. Not for say the best food but everything else makes up for it if you want a real hometown feel and if your not from Vero definitely worth checking out this gem this place has been around forever. Probably still the same cooks from 20 years ago so food doesn't change its very consistent.
Served promptly, food was hot, tasty and meal was plated nicely. Simple country home cooking and reasonable prices. Waitress was prompt, courteous and very efficient. We will definitely be back. 🙂👍
This place is great! Amazing country style food, literally everything we tried was delicious. The staff is so sweet. My mom just moved to vero and they made her feel right at home. She's going to be a regular here
The place was busy yet you could tell they were doing all the staff could to keep things moving. Once seated, the waitress came over to offer coffee and water. I ordered the Georgian waffles and they were delicious. A must stop when in Vero Beach.
