Way nicer than White Wash, staff greet you upon entering, clear area for you to sit or take your order immediately. They are fast, efficient and by far one of the best organized and cleanest places to take out or eat in. Don't waste your time on that disorganized White House unless you like waiting around for nothing.
Some of the negative reviews are kind of surprising as we've been coming to this location during summers for many years now and it's always been above average or better on all counts. The half-subs (aka hoagies :) are of quite ample portions and usually high quality ingredients; we like the cheese steaks & cold cuts subs. Eat in service is generally friendly also. I suppose every place as its bad days but we've not had one so we'll go back. I wish I could say the same for the Ballys casino location but alas, was there 3 days ago and their sub quality was lower & the dining area was absolutely disgusting! Will not go back there.
The subs are great! The cheesesteaks are also great! Anytime we have ordered from here they always get the order correct and it tastes great! The reason I am taking away 1 star is because sometimes when you call on the phone they sound a bit annoyed.
My family has been coming to Ventnor every summer for over 15 years. We always make a point to stop in for lunch or carryout at Sack O' Subs. Fresh, quality subs, friendly service, reasonable prices and fast prep time are what we have come to expect with every visit here. We look forward to going back every time.
This place doesn't need my review. Sack Of" Subs is such a Ventnor staple and so we'll patronized that they take their phone off the hook during the busiest days of the summer.
Fortunately, they are open all year. Everything is made fresh. They have a fantastic take out business. They offer daily soups and specials. The portions are awesome. We love Sack O' Subs.
I love Sacko's. Best subs around. I always get the Sacko Special which is good as hell but today I got a cheese steak. I will honestly tell you its the best cheese steak I've gotten outside of Philly. Lots of meat, great bread, Peppers onions and mushrooms, can't beat it. The onion rings and birch beer are a great side to any sandwich
Love, love, love Sack-O for years. Haven't been there since I live closer to Dino's and frankly they are very very similar. They were slammed for holiday weekend but still had the same quality I remember. (And they are nice there, they don't scare you like other local hoagie shops)
Great cheese steaks and the best ceaser dressing. They extra chopped my salad. Was a fabulous lunch. Owner was a bit douchey to the waitresses tho. Wonder if he was grumpy or if that's how he is all the time. Tip them well!
The cold subs are delicious and loved the natural cut fries. The fresh pickles and peppers were a nice added touch to the classic subs and the rolls are really good. Try this shore town favorite.
I've been coming here since I was a little kid and it's every one of my favorite places. Apparently a lot of people doing well because they tend to be busy. I really like their veggie Subs. I wish I could get something similar to them in Philadelphia. This is a must go to anytime we're in Ventnor.
