In town visiting and saw signs. We had the chili relleno plate, tamale plate and kids burrito. I will say the Relleno plate was the top 3 I've ever had! The atmosphere is very nice with a beautiful atrium style center fountain. The server was not knowledgeable of the drinks we had asked if they offer horchata and she wasn't sure, we also asked for Shirley Temple for the kids and she wasn't familiar with that, finally my husband ordered a Michelada and she also didn't know what that was. I'm not sure if she was new but she did well the rest of the service. I will say the price per plate was much higher than we expected before heading there. But we all left satisfied.
Clean and well-decorated restaurant with great service. I was totally impressed to sit down and get a nice bowl of chips along with 3 different dipping salsas. I ordered the fajita salad with shrimp. I turned down another bowl of chips as I had half a bowl left, but I accepted the salsa refill. Very tasty and different were these salsas. There was a lot to the fajita salad and I couldn’t eat all of it (too many chips, I guess). And the icing on the cake was the friendly, smiling service that was provided by Mosiah. If I’ve eaten at an Abuelo’s before, it’s been too long ago to remember. However, I can see another visit soon in the future. They look like they have some pretty nice happy hour specials and at least one low-calorie margarita.
Great dining enjoyed the outside tables wonderful view. The food was fabulous waitresses service was outstanding.
First time eating here, we do not have Abuelos in Florida and this place has it going on!!! From the atmosphere to the amazing service from start to finish! Oh and there's the food the most important part, no words other than amazing! If you have not been here try it!! The ambassador with steak and the stuffed shrimp was so full of flavor and cook perfectly!! Try this place out!!!
Great food and amazing atmosphere. We had a great family meal after my mother's knee surgery in Tulsa. I would most definitely go back for another visit and recommend all of my friends and family to visit as well. Thank you so much to the staff for helping accommodate my mother's temporary handicap. Angie was our server . She was amazing. Always made sure we had chips and dip and our drinks were full. Never had to ask for anything! Reasonably priced food from scratch and very flavorful. Will be going back for sure!
So the over by Tulsa Hills has some good food, not dripping with grease like other Mexican restaurants around the area.
The taco salad is huge and very presentable. The enchiladas are equally as good, with beans and rice. it all tasted fresh.
The service was really friendly even though I give the staff a hard time. I compensate with gratuity equally.
Took a road trip to OK when my husband wanted to see his dad. I love the inside and everything about this place. The food was good but too rich for me. The waitress said the large margarita was a fish bowl. We were expecting a fish bowl that we both can share and when it came out it was more like a small fish bowl. Lol. The queso and guacamole dips were amazing. My enchiladas, not too crazy about it but I tasted my husband’s food and his was great. Not sure if we will come back.
Very good food. I am from out of town and did not realize I visited this restaurant on their first day open! The staff was SUPER friendly and quick. The guacamole was good and the chips light and crispy. The chile renellos were very good and a very large portion. Very good, I hope they can keep up this standard.
A wonderful place with very friendly staff. I came here as it was a 2 minute walk from my hotel. Yesterday, my waited Sayd was very kind. He saw that I was eating more of a particular type of salsa, and then came with more of that.
Today I went and ordered food to go. As I was waiting, the two ladies at the bar were very kind to offer chips and salsa or coke/dr pepper as I was waiting for my food.
This place has the best flan I’ve ever had. My favorite is the firecracker shrimp appetizer.
They play good music here and the vibe is awesome.:)
