The food was really good. Good sized portions for the price. I've been to other places where the portions were much smaller and cost the same. This was my first visit and most definitely won't be my last!
Very tasty burritos, good salsa bar, and a fun and casual atmosphere.

I read some great reviews of La Botana, and they were right. This place is fantastic. The menu has some really unique items. It uses counter service, order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. There is a small patio and a smallish dining room. I was with a small party and everyone raved about their choices.
The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, casual, and very relaxed, and the food was pretty to look at and satisfying to eat. I had combo 5 which came with 2 Sonoran-style hot dogs and a large portion of french fries, and with every order you get chips and a good selection from the salsa bar. I'd have uploaded a picture but I was too busy enjoying my food to take a photograph, so you'll just have to check it out and see the food in person.
Really good little place to have Mexican food! very casual and clean. The menu is a little interesting to decipher as they use unusual names for the food. The barbacoa was delicious, and the gentleman at the front counter was super nice and helpful. Additionally, they have an outdoor patio that is away from the traffic so it would be nice to sit outside there on a warm day.
Good place for lunch on my own or for a small group of friends anytime. Huge margaritas if you so desire. Good choices in salsa bar and decent menu of pretty standard tacos, burritos, salads, etc. My spouse especially likes the chicken tika. I'm particularly fond of the bean dip they bring with the chips. I've been to 3 locations and they are all good.
Went on a Saturday night expecting a zoo and it was quiet. Can't for the life of me understand why, as the food was excellent, the drink deals were great and the staff were super helpful. Place is clean and bright and there is enough parking for an airport. Prices are good--GET OVER THERE NOW!
Such a great place. Went in for the first time tonight with my family and we had the greatest experience. Lots of great flavors on the salsa bar, welcoming staff who made us feel comfortable even though we came in close to closing. We tried surf and turf fajitas and quesadillas. Crispy cheese tacos and shrimp tacos. All of our dishes were Delicious! Authentic horchata as well. Can't wait to go and try other dishes.
I have lived in Tucson for all of my adult life. Through that time I have gone to many taco/ burritos and all of them are very good. I then tried La Botana. I have to say the Percheron has to be one of my favorite foods now. I also have to say the atmosphere and the employee make even more enjoyable. I am going to come back for sure to enjoy more great food!
