The atmosphere is cozy with a small-town cantina vibe...older building but very clean! The staff was very personable and timely in their service. They never stopped smiling. The food was AMAZING!!! Out in under 20 minutes and everything was wonderful. I highly recommend the shrimp and fish tacos, they were excellent. Definitely will go on the list of favorite places to eat and we'll be back often!!!

I don't know how the place was empty! It was extremely tasty and reasonably priced for a great sized portion. The enchiladas were GREAT! The service was extremely friendly and fast. I will definitely be visiting here on my next (and every) trip to Tucson. Do yourself a favor and try it. 😁🌯
Excellent service and even better food! Staff was super friendly, always checking to make the visit more enjoyable. Reminds me of my favorite mexican food restaurant back home! Can't wait to go back!

(Update) i went there just this 5th may. To meet an old friend for margaritas. The salsa was now from a (tomato) can, the chips were sub par and overcooked. The enchiladas took 1 hour to arrive, not even close to what was asked for. The guacamole was also frozen crap. My friend tamale platter was an utter mess. Flavorless soiled diaper presentation with the watered beans from a bag. Margaritas were bland, under punched, and seemed to take forever. They do truly seem clueless. Sorry. Just what I saw.... 5 may 2016
I had avoided this place because it always looks dead (unbusy) and figured there was a reason. I was pleasantly surprised. service was prompt, warm chips and salsa right away, it wasn't busy, but my food came super quick. (carne res enchiladas. so an easy item) very hot, fresh and quite delicious. plenty of beef for the price, tasting just the way it should. I am a chef by trade and am usually pretty judgemental. and I would recommend this establishment to any wanting a nice dinner out. great job guys :-)

Been there twice for lunch. Everyone agreed that the food was excellent. Very good staff, festive environment and the prices are great.
It's my new favorite place to bring friends or family.
Have always had great service and food here. We are sorry to hear the are permanently closing due the untimely passing of the manager Christy. She was a very nice lady and we will miss her and the restaurant.
