By far the BEST place in Tucson to get an authentic Sonoran hot dog. Highly recommend!!
I found this gem on someone's list of interesting places to eat in Tucson. We love loaded hot dogs, but I had never heard of a Sonoran hot dog before. Once I did, I had to try it. It was the consensus that this is the best in Tucson.
It's cash only. Hot dogs are $3.50. The menu has one thing: the hot dog with the toppings listed. Get it fully loaded as recommended. It's a cart with some tables to eat at.
It was a damn good hot dog. The bun seemed like Texas toast and was really good. Beans on a hot dog sounded weird, but it worked.
I couldn't recommend this hole in the wall more.
A neighborhood (and city-wide) favorite! Hot dogs are delicious. Someone tell reviewer Debby S (who lives an hour away and knows nothing about the neighborhood) that the area is totally safe. I live a few blocks away and walk here at night.
Someone else had reviewed this as "The second best Sonoran hotdogs" but damnnn, for us first timers (never had a Sonoran hotdog) they were FIRE! We'd stop in a million times over anytime we pass-through Tucson. Don't judge on outside appearances, let the weiners win you over! Yummm
Update: Came back again 6 months later as we were passing thru & it's still BOMB-A-F!

Great Sonora dog, always a perfect roll. Atmosphere it’s a hot dog stand with seating in an open trailer on 6th & 22nd.
Hand down please, it's not even close, this is the best place for Sonoran Dogs in town! They have perfected the art of the bun and and the rest isn't to shabby either. The ambiance is great and the price is good. My favorite hole in the wall guilty pleasure place.
Great food and awesome staff! The Sonoran dogs are delicious, the bacon is perfectly cooked and the bun was toasted so it had a perfect slight crunch while the inside was warm and soft! Tucson has a few “staples” as far as food trucks go, and these guys are consistent and great!
Update: Back in Tucson and this was a must have and it did not disappoint. Still amazing and will not hesitate to come by every time I'm in town.
Without a doubt my new go to place for sonoran hot dogs.
