The pancakes were only cooked on one side, the eggs were runny with what liked like snot, the plate looked like it had burnt stuff on it. The waitress had the eggs redone, cooked the pancakes on both sides and brought a plate to show us the burnt stuff was decorative. The decoration chipped off and possibly could get one sick. Time for new plates, honestly. We have ordered thousands of dollars worth of take out over the years, but no more. It doesn't appear that customers come first in this place. For the price they charge, you would think we could sit and have a meal that's cooked right the first time. So we ate in bits.
Not going back.
Say what you will about the service or the building. Banging food and this cook is legit!!!!

We are not from the area and stopped by on our way from the Natl Park.
We all felt the food was very well prepared/delicious.
I know I'll stop by every time I'm in the area.
I wish we had Chinese food this good in our area.
I call in my order to go and it is ready to go in 10 mins. Food is consistently delicious! I get orange chicken and veggie fried rice and garlic chicken. All so good! I live in Tucson Estates and hope they will always be here. Very convenient and great to know it is a safe Chinese restaurant to have here for meals.

My favorite hidden gem. This restaurant is hidden in my nearby retirement community. But I'm glad the folks share with me cause it's truly the best place. I have to rave about the cream cheese ragoons, or some people call them crabpuffs. I usually buy more than one serving of these. They are so fluffy and creamy in the middle and have the best flavor. I wish I knew their culinary secret to making these so perfect.
The portion sizes for all the main dishes are so generous. Each served with a big plate of white rice that I always take home for later to fry up with any of my leftovers. The place is always welcoming and service is quick and attentive. I've now been here about 10 times and it keeps getting better. I can't wait for someone to ask me where I want to go. My answer will be House of Cheng.
Outstanding meals! One of the best Chinese-American restaurants we have encountered anywhere!
Food is good and has reasonable prices. The only problem is that the owners, who are the 2 cooks, are the only ones at breakfast to check you out. So if you're in a hurry, you must have exact change or wait. If son is there no problem.
The food here is absolutely fantastic. Didn't give 5 Stars because even tho the food is great the service sucks. Only been there 3 times and all 3 times our server sucked! Rude, arrogant and very inattentive! Worst service I've ever had but again the food is really good.
Now the "atmosphere" is even worse! The place definitely needs a "makeover".
Great family owned place. They serve regular breakfast in the am. Small portions but delicious. They used to have additional seating but have shut it off for storage. Bad idea since the snowbirds are pouring in For winter. I personally love House of Cheng. 10/10 recommend. Take out is best. Normally hot and smells weird inside. 🤷
Fresh and hot meals, I can go across the whole town knowing I will get a fresh made hot and delicious chinese food dish.
