There's a def cool vibe to this place. A few plants would be nice. Also, they have enough space to set up a singer/songwriter in the corner. Would be the bomb and separate them from all the other coffee places out there.
It's the perfect quiet place for a morning cup of coffee. The batistas are always super sweet and pleasant to be around. The pastries are great for those without a sweet tooth.
I recently tried out Caffe Luce, as I had a couple hours to spare near there. I ordered a 12 oz soy milk latte, which was excellent and had a unique flavor. The shop was clean, and the service was friendly and efficient. So on coffee and service, I would give this a solid 5 stars.
I give the ambiance about 3.5 stars overall.
The drawbacks: I had my book and planned to stay a couple hours, but I left after 30 or 40 minutes. I found the shop too dimly lit for comfortable reading; the music was at least 50% too loud, though it was lovely and peaceful before the music started (once it started, some people went to sit outside, as it was too loud to talk over easily...music was in the foreground, not background, which made it difficult to concentrate on my book); the little round, stone table where I sat had sharp metal edges, and a very firm, almost straight-backed booth seating. I was hoping for a more relaxed, chill vibe with upholstered seating or well-worn wooden tables and chairs. There were two wooden tables that were occupied, which may have suited me better.
Though the shop didn't meet my personal expectations as a place to hang for a couple hours, the coffee and service were *hands-down excellent*, so I will definitely be back.
Great spot for artisan and crafty coffee! The barista is welcoming and the space is great to read, work or just meet a Fri d over great coffee. Super recommended!
I am not a fan of coffee shops, but this place is simply AMAZING. My wife told me about and I was like ok I will give it a try. Since then I have been there almost everyweek. Their hot beverages are really tasty. The environment of the place is really relaxing, and really good. I would go there over and over and forever. I highly recommend this place.
I tried this place out for a space to get some work done. I don't drink coffee so I want to say this review isn't about their drinks. It was obvious the other customers were raving about it though. The music was pleasant but cutting in and out, which was a bummer because they have such a nice atmosphere overall. The WIFI was also unreliable. I was unable to connect unfortunately and the customers beside me also mentioned they were using a hotspot. The place was quiet enough until about 10:40am. I'm glad they had so many happy customers, but not ideal for students.
Nice little Café with good quality coffee. Convenient location in the trader Joe's plaza with ample parking. Friendly staff and nice seating area. You usually don't have to wait too long on a Saturday morning, which is nice.
My favorite coffee shop in tucson!! The dirty chai latte is amazing and the staff is really nice.
Everybody need go to Caffe Luce✨
Love this place. They have the best pastries around and much less expensive then anywhere else. Same for the coffee drinks. I can get a large latte w/ extra shot and a pastry for under $10. Sometimes they are out of pastries or didn't have any that day (short staffed), but with Trader Joe's next door, I just run over there for a bite. Never had a problem with the staff. Always friendly and kind. The drinks are made the same no matter who makes them. Consistency is important!
Absolute perfection in a cup. 💕The atmosphere is lovely the staff are always helpful and really interesting people. Just a really nice place to grab a quick coffee to go or relax in the nice indoor and outdoor seating areas they have. They roast their own beans in house and their chai latte and dirty chai are my favorite go to drink here.
