This was a recommendation from a friend, Asian/Puerto Rican infusion. Sounds weird but worth a try. I have only been to Puerto Rico twice and there are not a lot of places in Tucson; however, this spot was excellent. The reviews speak for themselves. Staff was super friendly and although they don't serve alcohol soft drinks are on tap and they have a full reftigerator of various drinks. They don't mind if you bring outside drinks in either.
I enjoyed the fried chicken and this was the first time I had an egg-roll in years. The inside is not fancy, but it is clean and orderly. Will definately go back and recommend this to others.
This place is delicious. The fusion works beautifully. The mofongo was not too dry. The amarillos were not mushy. Que rico la comida de este lugar. Todo hecho a la orden y bien caliente.
This place is really good. Food taste like the real Puertorrican food. Great location as well. Prices on the items I purchased are a bit high but considering how hard is to get some of the ingredients is justifiable. Waiting time was reasonable. Staff was friendly. I'm sure I will be coming back.
The food was wonderful and flavorful. A genuine attempt to be true to the ingredients and cuisine from which their menu items are derived from. A welcome and unique food option in the medley of tucson restaurants. Mofongo, broth, and other food items maintained an enjoyable flavor, texture, and temperature even for takeout. Greatly enjoyed and cant wait to dine in next time.
Finally a Chinese Restaurant with a Puerto Rican flair! Big menu options, prices are good, good staff and service. Only 1 week in business and getting rave reviews, especially from the Puerto Rican community since this is what we know from the island. Staff all speak Spanish Puerto Rican style too! Give it a try!
I enjoyed the food here. It's the best of both worlds: Chinese food and Puerto Rican food. It's not fancy, but cozy enough. I had the mofongo and carne frita with a yucca appetizer. Cost was about $34 for two people.
This place is the best Asian food in town. With a little bit of a Caribbean twist. Your pallet goes into overload with all the great flavors from the food.(took me back to my childhood when I was in Puerto Rico) Atmosphere is relaxing. Trust me, You cant go wrong. With this place. 2 pc Chicken with Fried Rice side order of tostones and wash everything down with a Caribbean soda (Coco Rico) ufff... Can't wait to come back
Great place! Portions are very generous and they offer different levels of spiciness on the noodles. If you enjoy spicy food, you'll probably want to order the hottest option.
Had no idea that this place existed and am sad to have not found out sooner! The mofongo was super soft and delicious as well as the fried pork chops. Highly recommend this place to any fellow Puerto Rican’s that want some great home cooked food. The restaurant also offers a variety of Asian cuisine on top of the Caribbean food. Will definitely be making multiple visits in the future.
The food is a amazing!! The menu is a bit confusing though. I love the mofongo, but be prepared to wait a bit because they make it fresh.
