Fun place with so-so food.... Cool little place with a relaxed, beer-guzzling atmosphere. Both times I was here, service was sluggish, so come here when you're not in a hurry.
The first burger I had at Bob Dobbs was dry and not so great. The second time around the burger was decent, but nothing special. Wine was amazingly cheap, which was refreshing. Fun place for a drink, but not if you want some good food or a really great burger. The food probably tastes better, though, after tossing back a bunch of tall cold ones.
Best Locals Focused Bar in Tucson. If you don't mind scribbling on the walls and peanut shells on the floor then this is your place. If the Cats are playing you can watch them here. They don't have the largest beer selection or the greatest menu in town but what they have is good and it's affordable. This is a bar where you often see families with kids in the middle of the day on the weekend. They even have a children's menu. If you go often enough the bar tender and waitresses will learn your name and what you like to drink. Order a glass of whiskey on the rocks to earn instant respect.
Cool Laidback Bar. Great place to chill with friends and have a beer. Food is tasty, especially when its late and your already having a lil to much fun.
Old school corner bar. Ok... let's be honest. Bob Dobbs is not a pretty place. It's dirty, it's noisy, the service for most people is not great, the menu is limited; but honestly, if you're really looking on UrbanSpoon for a review of a restaurant, you won't like Bob Dobbs.
If you are, however, looking for a corner bar where the regulars will eventually get to know and like you, a cheap beer, a fantastic greasy burger, or a place to watch the game, Bob Dobbs is the place. If you're looking for clean, brightly lit, well staffed dining, go somewhere else. If you wanna have a good time, and aren't too concerned about the niceties of fine dining, I wholeheartedly recommend Bob Dobbs.
Friendly patrons, clean restrooms and good food. I've had a burger here and a cheesecake sub. Both were great but the fresh cut fries are what I come back for, they are delicious!
Been here a ton over the years. For a newbie nothing particularly special, but the people who frequent it are genuinely nice, so they clearly know something. Burgers are good and they have pitchers. Game day is a great atmosphere (if you are a U of A fan).
The food, the bartenders, the atmosphere, the other patrons.. all make this place a special little gem. DOG-FRIENDLY!!! :) and awesome karaoke on Saturday nights starting at 9!
Nice little pub. Great atmosphere for food, drinks and football. Attentive wait staff. Friendly customers.
Great local bar and grill. A long time watering hole for the University of Arizona. Like the Toby Keith song I love this Bar you will find all types from students to locals to professors. Make sure you have a burger.

Wings are perfectly cooked, crunchy outside, and moist n delish on the inside. Service was not as attentive as preferred but not overly lacking. Lots of regulars in the bar, which seemed to get service faster, which I understand
Was there first time in a while. I really miss coming here and will return soon. Miss the steak sandwich but the rest is still awesome. Someone at my table was disrespectful to the bartender and I am sorry for that but she was awesome and was still very professional. I'll be back soon!
5 out of 5, hands down, is like a Cheers set, you walk in and everybody knows your name🙌 ..or you can not sit at the interactive horse shoe shaped bar, and catch a table on the outskirts , or even on the patio. Foods great, grab a; Salad Sandwich or Burger, or wings, or even the board special and you'll be winning. Employees are personable and actually have memories and know what you want when you walk in through the door. See you soon🤌
