First time here. Decided to try after reading the reviews. Though not many selections, but enough for various Indian tastes. Love the samosas and Naan when it just came out and was still hot. Tried the mango Lassi, good and big glass 👍 for the price, really worth the try. The waitress was very nice.
We stopped by for their lunch buffet, it was our first time at the restaurant. The food was good, I wish their food warming tray was warmer as the food got cold fairly quickly after serving. I think the food would be tastier and more appetizing if it was warmer. The service was great, the waitress was very attentive and hospitable with the water refills. I wish there was more variety of the dishes that they offer. The small selection of dishes got old after the second serving. It is a buffet but with a very small selection. Otherwise we had a good time and the price was fair.
Very great buffet! I almost walked out when I thought it was only vegetarian... But it also had awesome meat options as well! Especially the lamb meatballs! Special shout out to Kaur! She was so hospitable and sweet! She made the whole experience that much better! Highly recommend!
The best food at the best price. Food is consistently great, has plenty of vegan options, and its ready fast. Unlike other places, the dishes are not floating in a pool of oil. I feel like I made a flavorful healthy choice after I eat there, and you can not beat the affordability.
The food is truly delicious, and the restaurant is always neat as a pin, with every table set to look pretty. Very friendly and attentive staff too. I've tried 5-6 different dishes now, and they're all yummy.
This place is always clean and the family that works here is so incredible kind and hospitable. Everytime I come the food is amazing , I live next to spice garden in marana , but drive all the way here just to eat because the food is that much superior and flavorful. Gandhi cuisine is tucsons best Indian food!!
Reasonably priced delicious fresh quality food
Delicious food and such an affordable buffet. But the best part was the service. There was an amazingly kind lady serving us who let our son have naan from the buffet (me and my husband were having buffet and our son was having paneer from Ala Carter menu) she was so nice that she said we don't need to order separate naan for him. Never have we ever experienced such generosity.
I love this restaurant, one of the best Indian places in Tucson in my opinion. The staff is always extremely helpful and very friendly, the food is top notch. Always made very fresh extremely traditional, even if you're just grabbing lunch. They make you feel that you're eating at a Michelin star restaurant.
It's difficult for me to find Indian food I don't like and Gandhi is no exception. I will say that the menu has changed a bit since the previous time I was there, and probably not for the best as the Chicken saagwala wasn't quite as infused with spices and flavorful. Yet, the naan bread and even the pappadoms made up for it with all the spices they had. For the price, it's very good and I would highly recommend it. Lastly, the atmosphere is very authentic that gives you the Indian experience with solid service all around
The pictures are from following dining experiences, which included akbari biryani, aloo saag/Punjabi lassi and the vegetable appetizer sampler. The biryani was honestly one of the best indulgences I’ve ever had, for which I was grateful for the large portion size, which filled me to the point of not needing breakfast the next day! You can certainly notice the authenticity of this restaurant
