New to Oro Valley and found this gem! Best ever...no kidding. They are all delightful and food really good at a really good price! I felt very welcome and plan on making this my "go to" place every week. Why drive to Tucson when this is sooooo good. ;)
I had a great experience at Carlota's .I had a fantastic server name Catalina (Cathy) ,she was so sweet ,knowledgeable ,and fast. I will definitely go back because of the service that I received loved their Burritos. Try Carlota's food and get CATAlNA (Cathy ) as your server

The service is fast and friendly, after going a couple time you will feel like a member of the family as they recognize you.
I could take lots of pictures. Trust me this food is so good you will kick your self if you didn't come hear. Drinks food atmosphere. The upgraded kitchen. The wonderful staff. And a reasonable price for your dinning pleasures. Don't take my word come and see for yourself. Tucsons gonna love the new look.
Visited early evening on a Friday. Excellent experience. Fabulous food, tasty margaritas and nice decor and ambiance. Portion sizes are very generous. Cadillac margarita was one of the best we've had at a Mexican restaurant in quite a while. All the staff were extremely friendly. Our server Sara was a delight. Will definitely return and bring some friends along with us.

Warm welcome: Our server made us feel right at home, even my picky nephew who just devoured a plain cheeseburger (and declared it delicious!).
Chimichanga delight: My shredded beef chimichanga hit the spot, smothered in tangy green sauce and enchilada goodness. Beans and rice were perfectly cooked accompaniments.
Worth a repeat: Carlota's earns high marks for both food and service. I'll be back, and you should be too!
We had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant Saturday night and the service and food was outstanding. Particularly, want to call out our server - Ricardo. Very attentive and really went out of his way to make sure that our first visit left us with an excellent experience.
I will go on to say that I also observed the other staff members that evening and was impressed how fast they moved to serve their tables. Even those that appeared to be in management that night were also observed to be making sure that everyone was being promptly served.
Very impressed! Great job to all, especially Ricardo! We will certainly return.
Has to be our favorite Friday night spot when we want to eat some good Mexican food and listen to live mariachi music.
We love the staff, everyone is so friendly and warm, we love the hot salsa and chips, the drinks and the food, oh the food the food the food!

This is an amazing place!! Our waiter was great, the food was delicious! My family and I had their new flavor of ice tea, cinnamon ice tea. It was delicious! I think there was a couple of different spices in the tea. It was the perfect balance.
The portions were big enough to take home. The flavor of each of our dishes was perfect. My sister and I had a beef taco salad. It was REALLY good! My son had soup with potatoes, jalapenos, and cheese. He really liked that! My husband had a steak taco. He REALLY liked that, too! He said the steak was in small cut pieces and was kind of crunchy, which he thought was delicious!
They have a deal where if you pay your bill with cash, you get a free fried ice cream. One per family. I usually don't get fried ice cream, but it was good!
The colors in the restaurant are so vibrant and beautiful! The restaurant is a great place to eat and visit.
Stuffed steak avocados with side salad was really good, good for you and the right amount. I don't want to bring home leftovers, I didn't and had enough to eat. The Cabernet red wine was really good, not overly dry and a great taste. The owners/staff were really nice.
We go there once every 6 weeks or so after church services. They are very accommodating with excellent food. If you pay cash you get a free fried ice-cream. The atmosphere is elegant with grand paintings and musical instruments.
Outstanding Mexican Restaurant! The food was AMAZING — the venue was outstanding — and the service was superb. Highly recommend this fabulous local restaurant for anyone looking for the best overall experience in the Catalina foothills area.

Great food last night. Generous servings.More than we could eat. Servers were attentive and friendly. Tacos and enchiladas very good! Love the mild salsa. Generous glass of wine. Got the free fried ice cream. Full but we ate it anyway!
