We drive from Phx to Tucson just to eat here. The food is always great.i love the home made pickles! If you stand in the store long enough you will smell all day like meat!
I love this place..they have so many on the menu, you want to eat them all!!!!I strongly recommend it!!!its a party in your tummy!!! Lol
A day out for something different. What a menu they have for sandwiches. We ordered and ate out on the patio. Easy parking and will work for handicap folks also.
The sandwiches are very fresh and made to order.
If you are in the area and want a change of pace. Stop in and grab a bite. Highly recommended 👌
Excellent butcher and sandwich shop! So many sandwiches to choose from, hot or cold. My daughter got the Uncle Eddie's BBQ brisket sandwich and has been begging me to go back ever since! Delicious at a great price, very hard to beat! Thank you Sausage Shop, we'll be seeing you again!

Hard to believe anyone has given them any less than a 5 star review! I've been here twice this week since I got to town to see my dad & I'm looking forward to coming back, REPEATEDLY! The Tubby was an all-world sandwich, hard to expect anything to be better than that. I had the Rosko on Monday it was damn good as well. Even taking them home they hold their heat well in these slightly cooler Tucson "winter" days. Service is fast & pleasant, at least when I come in on the later side of the day, I don't doubt they get mobbed for the lunch rush.
I'll be back, I'm looking forward to trying their many other delicious sandwiches!
Finally, I found ready to eat, authentic German potato salad. The beef dip sandwich was perfection! Their 'No messing around' line service makes for a quick stop😀
A Gem ! Great butcher shop ...but a bit off my beaten path.
But it is always worth the trip !
This time I got their smoked ham hocks (does all the smoking himself !)...for my Dad's infamous ham & bean soup! They smoke all of their own meats...the wide variety of homemade brats & sausages are amazing. And I often ask the Owner to slice off a couple of the smoked pork chops for us.
They also offer a huge array of creative sandwiches...the Blue Ox is my favorite!
Very busy right at the lunch hour...as serious tradesmen & the guys from UA order their favorite & sit right outside at the shaded tables & chairs.
Amazing place, has the best meat and sausages in town, think european deli here in tucson complete with atmospher and european service. Come here every day for my meats. All sandwiches are amazing too!

Awesome lunch spot. Great size sandwich’s that are not mostly bread. You get a hearty amount of meat. Clean store, friendly staff and good prices . The Ruben and Mac salad are delicious. Support local!
Huge selection of delicious sandwiches, meats, sides, and condiments. Small and friendly atmosphere with Al fresco dining. The Sausage Shop is a family run outfit with Minnesota roots that has the feeling of an upper midwest deli/ meat market. The order counter area is a bit small and can get cozy at lunch time. Ordering ahead for take out works well here.
Called ahead for some fresh polish and they had it wrapped up and ready to go for me. Best kielbasa I’ve had since visiting my grandma’s neighborhood Polish deli in Chicago. Seasonings we’re just right, they grilled up beautifully. These guys know their sausage, we’ll be frequent customers!!
