Had an absolutely fantastic meal at McGraws this evening. The staff was wonderfully attentive, but not over bearing. The food was so phenomenal that we ate four courses. That never happens. The chef/GM Justin was exceptional. He greeted us personally and made sure everything was up to his own very high standards throughout the meal. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, with a nice touch of smoke. Even when we were stuffed full, the southern custard pie was absolutely heavenly. The combination of sweet and cinnamon spice with a perfectly flakey crust. It's a must have. Couldn't have had a better experience.
for what it's worth I have not lived in Tucson for over 3 years now, and I still crave Mcgraws Cantina. it's everything about the place that makes it original. It's in the food, atmosphere, scenery, the lovely roadrunner that comes by daily to hang out and eat at it's favorite place as well. If you have not had the chance to enjoy the experience I highly recommend it.
Great food, good prices. Nice service. Love the atmosphere and the view from the patio. I go here often for kid friendly family dining or just as good for date night. Go on Tuesday for steak night.

Love the authentic Arizona atmosphere, cold beer and great food! Location is excellent and views are great. Good service and prices - highly recommended for casual meal and/or drinks and apps.
I agree with other reviews about the inside needed a spruce up. But outside is nice! We've been going for years and have never smelled the stables. This is a great casual place with a simple menu. Can't go wrong with a simple salad and their Redbird chicken breast. Order a beer and not a mixed drink, the bartender messed up one too many of our orders.

Love this place, I think in its reviews, it may be underrated. I have heard that if the weather is hot, the horse farm below can be...fragrant. this was not our experience, they day we chose for a late lunch was beautiful weather. Our server was helpful even in the face of prying questions. We got the flautas for an appetizer and those were the freshest, with the most tender steak inside! Try try try!!! I got the green chile hamburger, awesome. We finished it off with a piece of their fresh pie, buttermilk, which was yummy. Wonderful views of the south east side of Tucson.
Yummy, great food, amazing view and friendly staff! We enjoyed watching nature right off the patio, with the breeze and the sunshine. We all 4 were happy with our food!
The food here is good! The fish & chips were excellent, steak was cooked perfectly. The fries aren't anything special or unique but the fish melted in my mouth. Excellently cooked! I'll definitely be returning for fish & chips. Only real complaint was that coleslaw was a little dry, and that's very minor. I'd highly recommend trying out McGraws. Cozy little place with a good view from the outside seating! Especially at night.
Stopped in for some lunch, never been before and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We sat outside for the nice view. Ordered some chips and salsa with added guacamole, perfect start. For lunch we split the half slab ribs and chicken plate. Ribs fell right off the bone and the chicken had a nice grill flavor. The beans and veggies were just as good. Ws also had a little visitor, (roadrunner) that you dont see as much as you use to. We will recommend and be returning with the family. Our waiter Richard gave us a great introduction to the place and new his menu. Thanks
McGraw’s never disappoints! While we were looking for a home in the Tucson area a year ago, we came across McGraw’s and are so happy that we did! Everything about this place is so wonderful from the servers to the food to the incredible views from the back patio! At this time of the year, sitting outside in the sun feels great and to have a few cold beers and some great food is heaven right here on earth! Do yourself a favor and give McGraw’s a try, I think that you’re going to like it! :)

I had the blue cheese burger with bacon and the best onion rings I've had in a long time. My bf had the bbq bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries.

Food was great! Lots of patio seating with great view of the sunset. Obviously this place has been around a while,as it is a bit worn down.
Our favorite restaurant in Tucson! Great burgers and Mexican food! We always enjoyed the beautiful views from the terrace - especially during monsoon season.

After a nice afternoon visit to the Saguaro National Park East we were looking for a place to eat on the way back to the hotel when we saw the sign for McGraws Cantina aka Tucson McGraw's we got seated quickly as it was not quite prime time for them because we noticed as the sunset came on the place got busy. We decided against appetizers preferring to order our entree immediately. My friend chose the half rack of baby back ribs with a loaded bake potato and a side salad I ordered the 8oz. Top Sirloin which came with a salad and veggies and I chose a baked potato with butter. We enjoyed our drinks and the view which from where we were seated was spectacular looking out over the city of Tucson. Our salads arrived and they were excellent with a nice mix of greens,some tiny tomatoes and croutons. The entrees arrived and as with the salads they were great my friends ribs were fall off the bone tender with a good flavor and my steak was excellent cook medium and a crust on the edges. Our server was very attentive and it was a great meal and a great evening.
