reformaaa has great mexican foodd! I love the vibe of the restaurant and their nice staff. The drinks are to die for, fresh and handcrafted. 100% recommendd!!
I always go to Reforma for margarita Monday. All of their margaritas are $6!!! The blood orange is my favorite. I also love the shrimp tacos. Reforma never fails to impress me!
I have eaten here several times and the food is always great!! I ordered the taco salad this time and it was yummy! The staff made sure my food was devoid of my allergy inducing ingredients. It is a relief to have knowledgeable staff when it comes to food sensitivities and allergies.
The atmosphere is energetic with lovely music and splashes of color throughout the restaurant inside and on the patio area. It's still hot weather and I was grateful for the misters to help keep us cool.
This place is in Saint Phillips Plaza. Part of a group of restaurants that include Union Public House and Proof Artisanal Pizza. The courtyard area with music stage is very pretty. We went to Reforma for a late-ish lunch, but I really wanted to check this place out for future dates. Looks like a very pretty, romantic place with some couch areas with fireplaces and lots of propane heaters around.
We had the regular guacamole and chips for an appetizer. I ordered the two carnitas tacos, while my cuz got two chicken tacos. Both were very flavorful and they didn't skimp on the fillings (street type tacos). The only issue we had was there were large chunks of meat in at least one of each of our tacos. We're talking large pieces that should have been shredded or chopped prior to making the tacos. It wasn't a huge issue - I mean it was good meat, nicely seasoned, just too big to take a regular bite. Also, I guess the chicken tacos were a bit spicy and I'm pretty sure my cuz wasn't expecting that from her reaction.
Anyway, service was excellent and friendly. I'll definitely bring my date to this place. I bet it's super beautiful and romantic at night!
Visiting the area for our 25 year anniversary and gave this place a try based on a friends recommendation. Very happy with the choice as it was a wonderful evening. Good food, good service, and good ambiance. We were seated right away, our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and the live music was good. Weather was very nice. A great experience all around!
The only thing great about the experience was the presentation of the house margarita flights. I would give the rating a 3 however the bartender did the best she could. The formula for the drinks are tired and in need a of quality refresher. If you are going to use a house mix make sure the house mix is worth it— with adequate portions of liquor to mix ratio. All the margaritas were just bad. I would highlight that the guacamole was decent and big portion.
Reforma has great food, drinks, and customer service. I'm hard of hearing and sat outside. The weather was perfect, it wasn't too noisy. The volume of the music was at a perfect volume so I didn't have to sit out on the conversation or yell to speak with my friends.
Some restaurants have the music so loud in the dining area, it makes it difficult to participate in any conversation.
Beautiful restaurant and amazing food. If you are a tequila connoisseur, highly recommend try the margarita flight or tequila flights.
I don’t know how this place has only 4 stars. The salsa is mind blowing (granted we’re visiting from colorado but my husband is from here and I’ve definitely eaten a lot of good salsa). We got the house, verde and habenerowith chips as part of the trio. The vegetarian cauliflower tacos were truly AMAZING as was our simple bean and cheese burrito. Courtyard with fountain had lovely ambience along with a big screen tv if you wanted to watch the game.
Would come again!
Came here for a birthday brunch! And it was nice! It was a tad dark on the inside. However we still enjoyed it. I got the chilaquiles with carne asada (eggs were a little bland),and to drink I had a cranberry mimosa which was sooo good. Our waitress was nice and gave us her personal options of what she likes- and I love when we can ask them what they like and don’t like and they can be honest about it. I don’t care for
This location and the street market thing that
Was going on made it so hard to even find the restaurant and def limited parking.
Massive burrito, filled to the brim with meat, beans, rice and a tasty gentle sauce that tied it together. The burrito was noticeably good (because of the sauce in my opinion). Salmon was cooked perfectly. I would order both dishes again.
House made chips were delicious, crunchy, fresh, and a bit of salt.
Blood orange lemonade tasted like natural flavors and was not too sweet.
Staff was kind and professional. They managed the busy rush-hour very well. Waters were always full and orders on time. I recommend eating here.
Awesome place, absolutely delicious food, had brunch here on a Sunday and it was a great atmosphere, no wait at 10am when they opened, a beautiful art market outside after, and sports on the tvs. I had the chilaquiles and my husband had the breakfast burrito and we both had mimosas. This place has the best tortilla chips I’ve ever had at a restaurant, made in house! And the serving staff is very friendly and good energy so we would definitely come here again for more Mexican breakfast during brunch if we visit Tucson again!
