Have you ever eaten a breakfast so good that you wish you weren't full so you could eat that breakfast all over again? That's what the chicken fried steak and eggs is for me! My family and I love Robert's!
We discovered Robert's fairly recently and fell in love. Every single thing we've had there has been delicious. We try to go for breakfast at least once a week as our special treat! I recommend the Rueben and anything with/on their homemade jalapeno bread. Also, I'm a huge fan of rhubarb pie and it's not that common let alone tasty when you manage to find it. Not the case at Robert's! Delicious & tart with a flaky crust, the best I've ever had! Another plus is that the staff is always super friendly, helpful and genuinely caring, all of them. :)
Great old school coffee shop. I went for breakfast. The hash browns were crispy. The eggs were perfectly cook over medium. Coffee was included.
One of the best places for breakfast in Tucson. Only thing I tried and didn't like was the gravey for the biscuits. The biscuits are great! Homemade breads! Great omelettes awesome cinnamon rolls. Great place!
I had scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast. It was excellent! I would definitely go back!
Absolutely delicious! Cute little cafe with excellent and friendly service. Couldn't be happier!
Comfortable Food and Atmosphere. Robert's offers delicious comfort food for breakfast and lunch, with my personal favorite being the ridiculously large cinnamon rolls. The wait staff is very friendly and they work efficiently.
Trust the Tucson Citizen on this one. Basic inexpensive comfort food for old white folk like me. (90% of the customers) - Margarine is provided for the + fresh baked bread, ice cream can be added to the + fresh baked pie. +The coffee is decent and bottomless. - Mashed potatoes and gravy out of a box. + Fresh cucumber salad.
Always busy, always decent service.
My family had an excellent breakfast here, on our initial visit. The place is clean, spacious and well-lighted. Our server Vance was great and the entire staff provided excellent service. Food was tasty and generous.
Excellent available choices of both breakfast and lunch foods, although I usually opt for breakfast. Love their omelettes and home fries. Whole grain, rye and even jalapeno homemade style yummy breads.
Robert’s has delicious breakfast options. We ordered one mushroom-spinach and another Spanish style omelette! Spanish style omelette was delicious! The staff was super nice and asked several times if we need anything else. They decorated the place with old advertisements poster/pic and gave us a old diner feeling! We will definitely visit this place again!!!
We were seated and greeted promptly, the server was courteous and professional, the food excellent! Prices are very reasonable for such quality and I do recommend Roberts 100%!
Well, you cannot beat their breakfast specials that include coffee starting under ten bucks! New ownership has wisely stayed the same with comforting long term staff. Every ingredient is fresh and made with care. The Potatoes Hash Eggs Benedict special for $12.99 including freshest coffee was yumz.. Gotta have the Mountain Top Biscuit next time. Perfectly done golden drop biscuit was nearly as big as the saucer it was served on.
We were warmly greeted by the cooks as we sat at the counter. BRENDA & JILL took great care if us.
We had had 1) Ultimate Club Sandwich, Chicken Fried Steak, and onion rings.
Sandwich on Jalapeno bread! and chicken fried steak had real meat not cubed flimsy meat!!
Great start to our day!!
Excellent experience. Great food. Friendly staff
This is busy little Mom and Pop restaurant. The menu was a bit shy of their regular fare, new kitchen staff was being trained. My bride had the Sloppy Joe sandwich with fries, She says they were "very good". I had the blueberry pancake combo with eggs and sausage. The eggs could have stayed on the griddle a few more but that's just my preference. The pancakes were terrific, two large, stuffed with berries cakes that covered the whole plate.
Busy means the staff is hustling but the waitstaff are friendly and professional. For a breakfast or lunch, this is an affordable choice if you are in the mid-town Grant Rd area.
This is one of the great Tucson breakfast spots but stands out is the great value you'll find. Food is great and the prices reasonable.
I had the Double Pork Chops with two eggs ( I got mine scrambled), bacon, hash browns, and toast. Additionally I added the Pecan Cinnamon roll and coffee.
The food was excellent. The chops were nicely done and the cinnamon roll and coffee put me in an early morning bliss.
Good food. Great job.
My experience on a Tuesday morning at 10am....the place was easy to find. The atmosphere was so positive and staff actually laughed and promoted a happy experience. Yvette gave us a warm welcome and bright smile. I had the sirloin steak dinner that was fabulous and my coworker had the french dip.
5 stars for the experience.
