I had the El Gordito plate which a little of everything. All the items tasted great and the server was excellent. Definitely going back.

From the margaritas to the Mexican beers to the food, Leo’s has always been my favorite spot to catch a Wildcat game with a friend. You will not be disappointed!

Easily the Best Carne Seca. I was introduced to Leo's by a friend of mine. I've since been a die hard Leo's evangelist for anyone looking for good Carne Seca. Everything else I've had from Leo's has been good and the Margaritas are excellent, but the Carne Seca is the reason I go there. I've had the Carne Seca from El Charro and Mi Nidito's (both very good), but the first is over priced and the second is not worth the multi-hour wait.

Great, friendly, family-owned neighborhood restaurant. I have never been disappointed in this place. It's tucked away in a less-than-ideal location behind a Circle K and next to Ten's strip club. But it's a surprisingly spacious and welcoming place, often busy (although I've never had to wait), with a full menu and a full bar.

Leo is always there and welcomes you, and if you go there enough he'll remember what you order! Always fast, friendly service. The food is very well priced with most meals under $10. They have a list of vegetarian combo plates which is much appreciated - and quite rare in a Mexican restaurant. The margaritas are strong and delicious. Highly recommended!

Great Mexican restaurant. Try Leo's Enchilada special. The special sauce is to die for. Margarita's weren't bad either.

This was the most traditional classic Mexican Diner I've visited in a long time. The food was good. The service was Excellent [super friendly, accommodating, but a bit opinionated when it came to food allergies/sensativities], Leo, however, was the consumate host. Price point inexpensive, but my Bestie had to build her own two taco combo, none of their combinations included just 2 tacos.

First time here. I was craving Mexican food and actually stopped at Cafe Molina, but they're now closed on Tuesdays, so I decided to try a new place. The place was empty when I got there and I was given a menu and told I could sit anywhere I wanted. Leo was my waiter, he's also the cook, and the owner, so he was wearing a lot of hats today, lol. I ordered the "El Tapitio", which is 3 shredded beef enchiladas with rice and beans. I also ordered the chicken soup, mistakenly thinking it was chicken tortilla soup, oops. The soup was just "okay" for my taste. Not bad, just really bland. Needed seasoning. It's just white meat chicken, a very weak broth, and big chunks of green and red bell peppers, with celery, onion, and cilantro. The enchiladas were very good. The beef was well seasoned and tender. There was a nice amount of cheese and enchiladas sauce covering them. I got a side of sour cream for them and that was the perfect add on for me. The rice and refried beans were good. Again, maybe a tad under seasoned, but that's just me. All in all, it was a good meal and I will return. I do have a couple of small criticisms that kept me from giving 5 stars though. As mentioned, a couple things were under seasoned for my taste, and mainly it was the soup that was a little disappointing. Had it not been for that I might not even bothered to mention the rice and refried beans. Also, Leo was very friendly and helpful, but once I got my food he pretty much disappeared. That said, he gets a pass because he was literally a 1 man show as far as I could tell. Bottom line: despite a couple minor things I definitely recommend the place.

Service was quick, food and plate were hot! Chips fresh, and salsa right on, and with a cold Coke eating out for lunch was a good idea.

By far the best little hole in the wall restaurant in town. Love my beer glasses ice cold and the food is definitely great.

Leo's is a small little restaurant with a delicious topopo salad. I will definitely be back to try something else.

Stopped in for a late lunch to try a local favorite. Was immediately met but a smiling face who seated me after asking my preference. Gave me recommendations on the menu, and brought out warm chips and fresh salsa. I decided on the flautas for my meal and was not surprised when they arrived crispy with a side of guacamole so fresh there were still chunks of avocado. I wish I had remembered to leave off the lettuce, the only mistake I made. So glad I chose Leo's and will return on my next trip to Tucson.

Very good food, had the carne Seca and the picadillo plates and the meat for both was very well seasoned, definitely one of the better Mexican restaurants in town
