We had one of the worst dining experiences we've had in Tucson last night . . . check the tape . . . to one of the best tonight at Time. Great vibe. Excellent pizza. Very good Greek salad. Nice people. And right on the streetcar line. We'll def be back.
I found this place when I moved to Tucson to go to the University of Arizona over 20 years ago in 2001. The deli used to be in the back where the cold drinks are now! The food has always been well-prepared. Around when the modern streetcar line was installed, they remodeled and improved the interior and seating a bit.
I like their pizza and sandwiches, which are of a consistently high quality and also affordable. Their groceries, however, are out of my price range. Seems to be popular with students and townies. Ordered a falafel sandwich the other night, it was delicious but did not have pickle as advertised.
P.S. They sell an AMAZING beverage here called "Manhattan Special," it's an espresso coffee soda that I have never found elsewhere in Tucson. Highly recommended!!
I went to Time Market for dinner last night upon the recommendation of a hotel associate. The combination of flavors in the Greek Salad were absolutely delicious; the slice of wood-fired pepperoni pizza was yummy; and the beer was tasty!
There was a wonderful selection of fresh produce; wines; beer; and body care.
I am looking forward to returning to Tuscon to try something different from their options!
Had the kale & chevre pizza. EXCELLENT. Huge slices. The acidity of the cherry tomatoes really completes the whole package of flavor from the garlic to the goat cheese. I rarely eat all the crust, but had to with this pizza, which was my favorite type, new york style. The staff was very friendly, the tables nice and clean. There were so many unique items in the grocery aisles to explore while waiting for my food. Relaxing atmosphere. Will be coming back to try more dishes!
Seems like an ok place for a quick bite and/or drink. The place was a little loud, and the chairs were not the most comfortable for enjoying a leisurely visit with friends. Friends ordered pizza by the slice; the pizza by the slice looked a little too greasy and plain for my taste, and because of the foot traffic going by the order counter, I skipped ordering food altogether and we left after 1 drink. There were no available handicap parking spaces close by. Back in, paid parking spaces are out front if you are lucky enough to find an open spot.
One of, if not my favorite places in Tucson. Everything about this place is spectacular. The food is truly outstanding and the people who work there are so friendly. Pro tip: Don’t buy a cookie, buy the cookie dough instead😊 Always love coming here, best pizza in Tucson
I've been here 3 times. I've gotten 3 different things from the restaurant. All of them were good. The feta on this salad is worth coming for.
Treats are yum. The store has amazing looking produce. Everything is fancy and fun too. Quality natural store items.
Love this place for foodie gifts or a pick me up. It’s also a great place to meet up with friends and have a cup of coffee or chai. The chai latte is especially good and made in house.
The chocolate chip cookies and breakfast sandwiches are also delicious, and the staff are always so friendly and helpful.
Pizza looked amazing and the slices are huge. I had the turkey curry sandwich--delicious! Next time I'll pair my food with a beer or glass of wine. Both the inside seating area and outdoor patio are lovely. Take time (ha, no pun intended) to check out the produce, wine, etc. Not a pretentious place. Good vibes all around.
Excellent food and friendly staff. Wish they had a tofu or vegan meat option. Portobello sandwich is a tad salty. Portions aren’t large, so grab a cookie.
