Excellent customer service and the best walnut pastry that I have ever had. As an Indian fond of spicy food, this is a welcome change when I want to switch things up. I simply love the bean latte and their shakes and cannot stop at one pastry, I challenge you to try the same! They always give you something to try which is amazing. It's usually quiet and not too crowded, so if you are looking to snack and work, this might be a better local option than a Starbucks.

I have visited cocohodo several times in the last few years and have enjoyed their flavorful walnut pastries and yummy lattes. After moving to Seattle, I came back to socal for a vacation and ended up coming here again to try out some smoothies and it was even better than what I have had before.

Freshly ground beans make for great lattes in this friendly Korean coffee and pastry shop.
These little walnut pastries have changed my life. I came across these little Korean pastries several years ago. Home made, so the bar was set very high. I didn't know what they were called, so i went for years without another taste, until i happened to come across Cocohodo in Garden Grove. The GG store has since closed, but happened to run into the Torrance location on accident. My world is complete again.
Unique Korean pastries shaped like walnuts! Taste like cake with chocolate filling. Has a walnut inside. Served warm! They serve coffee too. Bought a box to share with family.
I ran across the street from the Marriott Courtyard where we are staying, because of a caffein need. I found it a tastefully decorated tea/coffee/boba cafe that has room to serve perhaps 20. Though a regular black iced tea was not on the listed menu, it was in front of me within 40 seconds. And it was good! But the biggest surprise for me was the tasty little walnut pastry they handed out. The literal "dough nut" comes in the shape of a large walnut, has a mass of bearclaw style filling, and comes wrapped in a small piece of gauze. Truly a surprising gem of a place that I am so glad to have found.
Cocohodo specializes in one thing: walnut pastries. They mold the breading to look just like a walnut and fill it with half a walnut and red bean paste. I almost feel bad about devouring it because it’s so adorable. The employees are always friendly and they offer one of their pastries while you wait. They sell multiple sizes of bags and boxes holding these delicious little morsels to fit any and all your needs. They come warm and ready to eat or you can heat it up later in the microwave (or just eat it cold). Each pastry is individually packaged so you can either eat it at your own pace or all in one go. It is always a hit when I pick up bag for the co-workers on my lunch break or get a prettily-wrapped box as a gift.
