We have been visiting Chinese restaurants near our house to compare them. This was the third one we visited. We ordered General Tso's chicken, shrimp lo mein, the house special bean curd, and one order of steamed dumplings. That came with white rice as well. The General Tso's chicken was intriguing. It wasn't breaded (or the breading was extremely thin) but the sauce was thick and flavorful. They also used dark instead of white meat, which actually resulted in juicier chicken rather than dried out chicken. It was also a bit on the spicy side (which is generally okay for me but not for my wife, who doesn't like spicy at all). Even though it was different from what I'm used to, I liked it and would give the General Tso's chicken a 4 out of 5. The shrimp lo mein was also pretty good. The shrimp could have been marinated to give it more flavor, but the noodles had a nice, strong flavor to them. Also a 4 out of 5. The house special bean curd was okay. It was heavy on onions and peppers that were bit on the crunchy side. The tofu wasn't particularly flavorful. The sauce was fairly flavorful but it was also rather spicy, which we were not expecting. Since that was for my wife, it didn't turn out all that well - she doesn't do spicy. So, if you're ordering this and don't want spicy, you should let them know. A 2.5 out of 5. Finally, the dumplings were pretty good. They were larger than a lot of the dumplings we've tried and they actually had a fair amount of flavor - heavier on the ginger, but you could still taste the pork in them. The came with a nice, sweet dipping sauce as well. As dumplings go, these were quite good - maybe a 4.5 out of 5. The store itself is definitely what you'd call a "hole-in-the-wall." It's part of a strip mall. Inside, it's very small and not the most up to date. But the service was extremely fast (15 minutes from when I called to when I picked up the order) and, as noted above, the food was on the good side. It's not as good as our regular place, but my son and I really liked it (my wife was less impressed). Finally, price-wise, because we ordered large portions, this was a bit more expensive than we're used to, but it wasn't crazy expensive. We paid about $45 for everything.

Very quick and fair prices. Better Fried Rice than other similar Chinese Restaurants. They actually have white rice that has been fried with soy sauce, egg, and veggies, not that yellow rice stuff some places call "fried rice". Their lunch special with an egg roll is a very good deal. Not the best Chinese food I've ever had, but very good for the price.

Fried dumplings and crab rangoon is amazing. So is the sesame chicken. Bang for your buck. Ideal Chinese takeout. Fresh orders.

Love this place. It’s like the old school typical neighborhood take-out places back home in Brooklyn. Don’t come expecting something fancy (who cares really, for take-out?). But it’s family run, super nice people, great variety and the food is consistently very tasty. If I had any complaint it would be the portions are a wee bit small for the price; but at least the prices are reasonable, particularly compared to some of the fancier places in the area. I’m already a repeat customer. I don’t get the negative comments except my guess is these people don’t know good basic Chinese food from a simple take-out place. Strong recommend from a Chinese food fanatic for 30+ years.

Ordered the orange chicken and wonton soup. Really liked how the chicken was not breaded, there was a lot of food and flavor was good! Wished there were vegetables in the rice but I liked that it had egg.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They provided fast service, decent conversation, and plenty of smiles. Their bathroom is severely lacking, but the fact that they have one that is accessible to customers is an added bonus. Their food is piping hot and pretty decent (I got général tsao chicken, which is splendidly spicy! 😁) and the crab Rangoon is some of the best I've ever had, including from fine dining establishments. Great job, guys! I'll definitely be back! 👍👍👍😃😃😃

If you are looking for real authentic fried rice, this is the place to go. For years I searched for the fried rice I use to eat in Chicago (white rice turned brown, onion, egg and bean sprouts). I kept running into places with yellow rice (never heard of this kind of Chinese fried rice). I found Fried Rice King and fell in love with the rice. The family is always pleasant and the wait is not long. If you are looking for the real taste of fried rice, I highly recommend Fried Rice King!

My husband ordered the chicken lo mein and can’t stop saying “the noodles are cooked to PER-FEC-TION.” With the hand gesture, I’m sure you can picture it. Friendly and fast!

I like this place. It is your standard pop and sons operation. The hot and spicy chicken is my go-to. The food isn't going to win a James Beard award but it is a major step above the syndicated strip mall Chinese with the stock photographs of menu items above the counter. Definitely call ahead and order takeout; there are only one or two tables set up for two.
