I enjoy my tacos everytime I get them from here. The ladies are very friendly and kind. And English is spoken there so no need to worry about that. Just have to try and beat the lunch rush because you'll have to wait longer than usual
Amazing food, amazing value, amazing service! I ordered the lunch fajitas for $11 and could not of been happier. Great flavor, very fresh. Definitely in my top 3 for Mexican food in the Tampa area.
We just stopped in to get a can of hominy for my birthday meal. I’m 50/50 from both Arizona and Florida. This place felt like a home away from home. I hope this little gem stays in business forever. I’m excited to go back and try their fresh dishes. I saw people sitting down with theirs and they looked and smelled incredible.
Not a bad little place; in town for the weekend and this place was near our airbnb. Good salsa and tacos. Guac lacking in salt but the prices were right. Very authentic.

I hadn't been to La Fiesta in a while, so I decided for my dad's birthday I would treat him to lunch. As usual, the food was great. The atmosphere was chatty, as people were starting to come in on their lunch breaks. This place is small & cozy, you would miss it if you weren't paying attention. It's inside a Mexican store and the food is really good. I will definitely be returning. My dad loved the salsa & chips and guacamole. It was his very first time eating Mexican food & he loves it!
Had some great food, service was great definetly recommend going here.
We came across this place by reading about it in a Tampa magazine. One of the chefs that was interviewed mentioned that his favorite authentic Mexican food was a place called La Fiesta Mexican Store. So, thanks to Yelp, we looked it up to read the reviews.
To our surprise, Yelpers gave it four stars, so we said let's go!
The building is literally in the middle of a neighborhood and doesn't look like much from the outside, let alone the inside.
When you walk in, head to the right. That's where the tables are to sit and order. There is actual table service. It's a tiny little grocery store that seems to carry authentic Mexican groceries also. Once we sat down, we were greeted with menus, chips and warm salsa...which is the way of having salsa served.
We had read in the reviews how great the tacos were, so we skimmed the large menu and headed straight for the tacos. You literally can not beat the price!!! $1.75-$2.00 for one taco.
We ordered Tripe, Barbacoa, Chorizo, Lengua, and Asada. WOW! I am a fan for sure. If the tacos are this good, then I can't wait to try the other things on their menu the next time I go back. I had tried a different type of beer while I was there from Modello that sounded interesting. It was a beer flavored with tomatoes, salt, lime, tamarind, and chipotle pepper. Yum! I know it sounds gross because it's a flavored BEER, but to me, it tasted like a fizzy Bloody Mary. It tasted great with my tacos.
Don't judge a book by its cover...this place has awesome food and we will be back!!
Oh man. As a transplanted Californian, sometimes you want "regular" Mexican food. The kind we ate growing up. Everywhere else I've been in the Tampa Bay area has promised authentic Mexican and it's been bland Tex-mex. Maybe that's on me for relying on the Nextdoor app, but until today, I was thinking that no one around here could make the right thing. Wrong. La Fiesta is perfect. Delicious food, good value. Maybe the neighborhood might not agree with everyone, and certainly the decor is not the most elegant, but the tacos were so so so good. My husband had the well-seasoned carne asada and I had al pastor, with a delicious hint of pineapple. Really delicious salsa, beans and rice. My only regret, I live too far to make it my regular.
Best Mexican restaurant in town ❤️and the service impeccable 😘
Very friendly service, the food was amazing, I definitely will return multiple times.
