Overall good. Was extremely busy when we went so the service was subpar. Food was tasty. Not a big fan of the chicharrones. Odd.
Love The Food!. I love the food but it gets busy fast! Seating and parking can be a challenge but the food is worth it. The Arroz Marineo is my favorite dish. You may spend $20 on this dish but it is well worth the money! Everything is freshly made and a bakery to boot!
It's like walking into a restaurant in Colombia. I wanted to eat everything!!
Great place. I frequently eat at many Colombian restaurants and I had heard so much hype about this one. The food was delicious but it also was similar to other Colombian restaurants that I go too. The only difference is that this restaurant has beautiful décor. Its a little more expensive than some that I have been too. I guess I'm paying extra for the location.
Huge Portions, Good Service. The portions of food are giant - most people can split a platter! The taste of the food is authentic and delicious, if not slightly on the greasy side, so watch out if you are trying to diet here - it probably wont happen. Especially not with the yummy beans or fried pork skin.
Surprisingly, for such a crowded restaurant (and its always packed), the srevice is pretty fast and always friendly. You may be served by 2 or 3 different servers, but they get the job done.
The price is average, with some of the steak platters getting into the low $20 range. The ambiance is okay - think more diner than upscale dining - but all in all, it was quite nice for a quick, hearty meal.
Can't miss. The food is always good here. Anything you order is great and fresh. You have to wait for your food, but it is worth it in the end.
Super rica - great food, nice service. Enjoyed the seafood, sausage, and sides at this place. No alcohol served in the main restaurant, but great fruit shakes mixed with water or milk. We enjoyed arepas, fried yuca, empanadas, fried tilapia, Colombian tamal, and seafood rice. All of it was excellent.
The service was quick and friendly - a great experience, highly recommended for a visit to Colombia right here in Tampa.
OMG! Intense flavor! Visiting from Philadelphia. First meal I had in Florida was the Arroz con pollo. Great way to kick off a wonderful vacation! Service was fast, portions were huge (I had to take leftovers home), prices very reasonable. The kicker: tres leche. Wow.
Good food, authentic. Good food, service, cheap prices.
!Esta Rico!
Great food at an excellent price! I am never disappointed with anything I order. Authentic Columbian cuisine.

LA PEQUEÑA COLOMBIA in Tampa, FL is an absolute gem! Even when opting for carry-out instead of delivery, the experience was seamless. From the moment we ordered online, the process was incredibly easy, fast, and the food arrived fresh. It was our first time trying Colombian cuisine, and we were blown away by the flavors and authenticity.
Even for a carry-out experience, LA PEQUEÑA COLOMBIA exceeded expectations! The service was impeccable, and the cozy environment added to the overall delightful experience. Beyond the amazing food, they have a small plaza with goodies for everyone, making it a unique and charming spot. The drinks were a perfect complement to the scrumptious dishes.
My family, including our 4-year-old, had a fantastic time, and the portions were so generous that we brought home a whole plate for my mother, who was equally impressed with the deliciousness. LA PEQUEÑA COLOMBIA is a hidden treasure in Tampa, and we'll definitely be spreading the word to friends and family. Five stars don't seem enough for this extraordinary culinary find!
I believe this place is one of the top and authentic Colombian restaurants in Tampa! I go here frequent! The food is always so good and service is great 😌
Side note: it’s super authentic so only Spanish speaking so just be sure to brush up before you go!
I'm always looking for Colombian food anywhere I go. Had a good time here. Nice and clean place and very affordable. La picada Pequeña is good as an appetizer.
The food was great, the portions were large. The service was excellent and a great atmosphere. I recommend the Bandeja Paisa, the empanadas and the steak with tostones.
Just made a quick stop as I driving by, got some empanadas to go and they were good. Will come back to try the food and the rumba.
This is a great restaurant to go to for Colombian food. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. They also have a bakery for desserts. They have wine, Columbian beer, and various juices. Traditional music is playing, and the service is very friendly.
Visiting my brother in Tampa Florida came across this Restaurant/ club, What I like the most about this place is that I notice a lot of security. They were screening people getting in and there were security guards inside as well. Making sure nobody gets out of behavior. The decoration of the place gives such a great atmosphere for great entertainment at night. The music volume was perfect. As soon as you step in your body starts moving, everybody is pretty friendly with everyone else. I didn't go to the restaurant next door but it's also attached to the place as I noticed. This was my first time there and I really enjoyed the little bit of time that I spent there.
I noticed the place was pretty clean. There is plenty of parking and it is well lit.
I will definitely try again if I'm visiting and I will recommend it to everyone who loves music and dancing to pay a visit.
When we arrived there were people waiting in line so we joined the line…. Just to find out there was no real line for just two people…. We waited a total of 45 minutes. While in line I called the restaurant 9 times trying to find out if it was reservation only or what…. No answer….. went in and spoke to host who told me 25 minutes… 35 more minutes went by…… then we were seated. Drinks arrived fairly quick but tastes like medicine. Food on the other hand also arrived quick but tasted good. Very loud music so people trying to talk were talking loudly because they could barely hear themselves. Def give it a try at least for the food.
This is one of my favorite Colombian food restaurants. The service was excellent, the owner and the staff are always very welcoming and friendly. The Food was really good and tasty. They have bakery with some sweet and salty options that you can enjoy with your food or take home with you. The empanadas are very good. I like the ambiance and the inside decoration.

Food was good. I don't give 5 stars just because the mojarra we ordered was overfried
